a TV in your bathroom?

What is good and bad about this idea?

That's even more embarrassing than keeping magazines or crossword puzzles in there ! I prefer to pretend I don't spend a whole lot of time in there. I'd have to have a hidden tv!

No TV...because that's the Library.

When we moved a year and a half ago, my DH mounted a tv in the master bath. I thought he was crazy, but now I think I use it more than he does:rotfl: It's nice to have the news on while I'm doing my hair/getting ready in the morning, and when I have time to soak in the tub, it's really nice to watch a favorite show.

If there was a separate room for the shower, Or it was mounted in the wall with separate ventilation, I'd worry a little about the humidity getting inside of it. I wouldn't mind having one over a great big soaking tub.

We have one in the master bath and I love to watch when I'm getting ready in the morning or soaking in the tub at night. :goodvibes

Goodness, I am just trying to get one in the kitchen, never mind the bathroom!

I would LOVE IT! Soaking in the tub and watching tv would be amazing! We had a tv in the bathroom at the Venetian in Vegas...we loved it!!

no we don't have one but if we had a kickass bathroom with a great soaker tub i'd put one in there. not a huge one though.

some hotels we stay in have nice big tubs with jets and a window to the bedroom - i often put the tv on and sid for half an hour watching a show, the news or a movie while soaking.

some people read in the tub why not watch tv

the bedroom, but i can see it while im in the tub.:happytv:

no way---I don't want people reading in there either....go in, do your business and get out--it is not a resort to spend time in--its a bathroom-shouldn't be in there for more than a few minutes, no need to linger thank you.

I will not have a TV in the bathroom or bedroom. The same goes for a telephone.

No desire whatsoever. I can understand the appeal, at least in a master bath with a nice tub. I read in the tub; someone else might prefer the TV. But I don't see us installing a TV in the bathroom because my 9yo and I are the only ones who take baths and we both prefer reading over watching TV.

The only TV hooked to satellite in our house is in the living room. There is one in our son's room that has a DVD player and a Gamecube. None anywhere else. I don't see the need for one in the bathroom.

A tv in the bathroom truly doesn't appeal to me.

We don't even have one in our bedroom right now but I hope to change that at some point!
