Do you have , or do you want...

No, I don't have one, and I never really thought about it. I'd probably worry about adding another electronic thing around water, though.

No thank you...bad enough that is DH's library an reading room.

If I lived alone I prolly would not even own a TV

My initial reaction was ICK and WHY????:confused3
Having read the responses I guess I could sort of kind of see it for soaking in the tub--but I would never want it.
I am not much of a TV person anyway. We just have one (in the living room) and for many years it had no incoming signal at all (just DVDs). We mostly use it for the Wii and to watch a movie together on the weekend.

My husband put one in our bathroom last Christmas. We do use it for being in the bathtub and getting ready in the mornings. That's how I keep up with my time, but what's on the Today Show. didn't think I'd like it but I do.

That would be a no. I don't want more than one small TV in the entire house. I certainly don't want one in the bathroom.

There was a TV that was built into the bathroom mirror in a hotel room I stayed in in Las Vegas. I actually kind of liked it. It was part of the mirror, so you really couldn't tell it was a TV screen until you turned it on. I liked watching the news while I put my make-up on in the bathroom :).
We have a phone in our bathroom-it's one of the old Mickey phones, and it is on my vanity;)

no way---I don't want people reading in there either....go in, do your business and get out--it is not a resort to spend time in--its a bathroom-shouldn't be in there for more than a few minutes, no need to linger thank you.

I have a resort style tub...a bathroom isn't all about the toilet...

:eek:What about a phone mounted on the wall next to the toilet?!!!!!!!!!!

Who needs that when you have cell phones.

No way! My husband would stay in there forever! Add a mini-fridge and it would be the ultimate man-cave...:rotfl:

Why are people so focused on the toilet aspect of their bathroom? :confused3 My bathroom is bigger than my DD's bedroom at our old house, has a huge shower, tub, vanity and one little closet for the toilet.

I would love to be able to listen to the news while I got ready for work or soaking in the tub.

Lucky you! Our house is 100 years old, has one bathroom, and it is SMALL. The tub is short and ancient....nobody would want to hang out in there for very long (well, except for my husband, if he had a TV in there...:rotfl2:)

Ok...that I understand! But to have a tv in a big bathroom would be pretty nice!

I dont think I've ever been in a house that has a toilet in the bathroom. I've seen it in a hotel but never in a house. Our toilets here are like completely separate rooms.

I will not have a TV in the bathroom or bedroom. The same goes for a telephone.

You don't have a phone in your bedroom?? I would never NOT have a phone in my bedroom. It's a safety issue in my mind.

We have a huge master bath and a 2 person jacuzzi. I wouldn't mind a TV in there for when I am soaking in the tub. I rarely watch TV but it would be nice to put in a movie to watch. We have some friends that put a tv in their bathroom, sort of as a joke but found out they loved having one in there not only for the tub but in the morning getting ready too.

Some other friends put a fireplace in their bathroom at the end of their whirlpool--THAT was cool. They also jokingly put a telephone in their bathroom (in the early 80's before cell phones).

Matt Muenster (:lovestruc) has been doing it a lot on his shows so there must be a demand for this. They are the ones that are part of the mirror. I don't personally desire one - not a bath lover.

No way.

I'm not going to give my husband any more reason to stay in there any more than he does now. It's bad enough already. Next thing you know they'll be places designed in a bathroom for the laptop.

I have seen the tv's that project through the bathroom mirror in several houses around here. I think that it would be nice to have one that way. I also think that would solve the humidity concerns.
