That's even more embarrassing than keeping magazines or crossword puzzles in there ! I prefer to pretend I don't spend a whole lot of time in there. I'd have to have a hidden tv!
When we moved a year and a half ago, my DH mounted a tv in the master bath. I thought he was crazy, but now I think I use it more than he does It's nice to have the news on while I'm doing my hair/getting ready in the morning, and when I have time to soak in the tub, it's really nice to watch a favorite show.
If there was a separate room for the shower, Or it was mounted in the wall with separate ventilation, I'd worry a little about the humidity getting inside of it. I wouldn't mind having one over a great big soaking tub.
no we don't have one but if we had a kickass bathroom with a great soaker tub i'd put one in there. not a huge one though.
some hotels we stay in have nice big tubs with jets and a window to the bedroom - i often put the tv on and sid for half an hour watching a show, the news or a movie while soaking.
no way---I don't want people reading in there either....go in, do your business and get out--it is not a resort to spend time in--its a bathroom-shouldn't be in there for more than a few minutes, no need to linger thank you.
No desire whatsoever. I can understand the appeal, at least in a master bath with a nice tub. I read in the tub; someone else might prefer the TV. But I don't see us installing a TV in the bathroom because my 9yo and I are the only ones who take baths and we both prefer reading over watching TV.
The only TV hooked to satellite in our house is in the living room. There is one in our son's room that has a DVD player and a Gamecube. None anywhere else. I don't see the need for one in the bathroom.
