Or do you feed the kids first? Or is it Everyone fend for themselves?

Well, since it's just me and my daughter, we eat together. Or at least I eat and she complains about what I made ;)

Dinner as a family. It is one thing I am pretty adamant about, Unless of course there are certain circumstances and we can't be together.
I believe family dinners are very important. Its becomming a thing of the past tho in most families these days <sigh> :(

Family dinners are the highest priorty....we have dinner as a family everynight....and 98% of the time all 6 of us are there..

My kids are 21 & 18 & they work in the afternoon/evening several days a week. When they're home though, we all eat dinner together. We also eat Sunday lunch together. Breakfast is on your own. I'm the only one who really eats breakfast.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no -- it really depends on our schedules. Tonight, for example, is probably a no, since I'll be at work later than usual. :)

Once every blue moon because Me and Mom work two different scedules.

My DH works evenings, so during the summer our family meal is at lunch time. We always eat together. Weekends, we eat together as a family.

Most days, DH insists upon it. Now that it is summer, tho', and we have more fresh food in the house, sometimes it is fend for yourself. To hot to eat or cook so snack on veggies, fruit, dip, etc.

Usually every night, except this week DD is at her G-ma's and DS is at Boy Scout Camp.............just me and DH all week....

Yes, it's very important to me to eat together, no tv. I grew up this way too, so it's natural to me.

Try to most nights, but doesn't always seem to work. DD and I will usually eat dinner together, but DH works late some nights (or works a side job with his brother) and DS always has some excuse to be with his friends.

When my boys were younger we always ate as a family (minus Dh, as he works 2nd shift) But now we don't as much as they are so busy and on different schedules esp with sports. But when they are both home, yes I always make a point to eat together.:D

We try to eat together whenever I have Maddy, but if she's not here, we fend for ourselves.

Our youngest DD is a competitive gymnast. They are bumping up from 3 three hour practicers a week to 4. So now she won't be home until 7:30 4 nights a week. I don't know if we'll all wait to eat once school starts or not.

we almost always eat together as a family. I think it is very important to be all together at dinner because that is where everyone catches up on each others day. I don't know if when the kids get older we will have as much time to, but i would like to try!!!

We would love to but DH rotating 12 hour/day schedule doesnt always permit. Most of the times the kids are fed and ready for bed so they can spend a little time with him when he gets home.
