Do you complain

when you have a problem with your food? I ordered a pizza last night with mushrooms and onions. It was late towards the end of the night. It seemed like they forgot it was supposed to be mushrooms and onions and threw some on afterwards. There were hardly any mushrooms and the onions were raw and tossed on top, obviously after the pizza was cooked. I tried to call right away but got their voice mail. I just called now and they offered to replace it. I was very nice to them and explained that I could understand since it was the end of the night. But I paid $5. extra for the toppings.
They are sending another one over now. But now I'm paranoid about them spitting on it or something. What do you do?

I wouldn't worry about it. You had a legitimate complaint, and you told them about it, politely. Was their tone understanding and conciliatory, or snarly? If they were nice about it, go ahead, enjoy the pizza!

I would like to believe that the stories of all those "nasty" extras really happening, are few and far between.
