And if so, how far in advance?

No, I just bring my confirmation numbers with me but I have never even had to get those out.

i never have but when we got there last time they were in a real mess so if i had some for say crt, i'd call just before i left home. if i didn't really care if i had to go somewhere else i wouldn't worry about it unless it was a really busy time( like Christmas) but i did take my confirmation numbers and they were able to make me new adrs (ps at that time) but that was in January

Yes! I made my resort ressie, ADRs and Wishes Cruise less than 4 weeks out this time, and DH called back three days later to confirm them all. We are supposed to call again for the Wishes Cruise 14 days ahead of time to confirm times, etc.

I have not called to re-confirm hotel accomodations.

I did call to re-confirm our dining reservations at WDW and the CM was really puzzled as to why I would do that. Won't do that again.

If you have your confirmation #'s and any other important paper work that's probably good enough.

IF I was going during a very busy time (Spring Break, Easter, Christmas) oR you have a large party (>5) I would do this for sure! I would call CRO, give my Conf # and ask that they read back to me exactly what it says. It is very easy for CRO to book the Yachtsman Galley, instead of the Yachtsman Steakhouse and you don't want to find this out at the podium on a busy night. Sure, you called and you asked for YSH, but when the podium staff looks up and finds your Conf # and it is booked at Yachtsman Galley, there is not much they can do on a very busy night.
I would do this about 30 days in advance just in case there is a mistake you may have the opportunity to have it corrected.

in fact i called bw to confirm my reservations this week and to see what room they gave me cause i found it cheaper online and she gave me the price. so i saved some money. last week i called the car rental,pop century to confirm and also make any request i may have forgotten and everything was upgraded and i got.i do it for peace of mind and its only 51 more days.

I check everything with concierge when they call a few days ahead of time to talk about room requests. I also have them email me a copy of my itinerary and double check that my listing has all the right confirmations. I will also have to be confirming all the surprises for my DH are set up and planned for the right days. This is the first year that I have spa treatments, but I will probably call to confirm those myself.

If it wasn't concierge, I would call and verify everything. It may be possible that dining can send you a list of all the ADR confirmations via email, like concierge, but I don't know for certain.

I always call a couple days before I go. Not that I think anything might be wrong but I just so want to talk to those people who sit up in the castle overlooking Main Street (that IS where the CRO CMs are, right?) It's one of those things I do to let me know my WDW trip is about to happen.

Thats where they used to be. I don't think they are there anymore. But I def. agree with the getting some more disney magic. I love calling! My DBF thinks i'm a nut!

Yes, on any trip, I usually call 1 month ahead, then again a few days before we leave. Just want to make sure.....I've heard so many horror stories about cancelled, incorrect, or lost reservations.

No, no-don't spoil my dream! Whenever I call, I just imagine that the person on the other end of the phone is looking out at MK Main Street as we speak (the rational side of me knows they're not really there, but the dream side...)

I only call to confirm my towncar services both to and from the airport.

I make a list of all confirmation numbers -- hotels on the way, resort, dining, etc.

I call once to confirm everything at about the T minus 3 months mark and then again a week prior to leaving.
