We have a backyard pool and our beach towels tend to wear out pretty fast. This next trip in the fall I plan on taking a set of our oldest shabbiest beach towels, using them at the resorts and water parks and throwing them away at the end of our trip. Otherwise they end up lining the dog's crate
Yes I do, I prefer to have my own towel (I don't care for Disney's enough to leave mine at home). Plus it helps to be able to spot my things when at the pool or water park because in a sea of white towels my beach towel sure does stand out.
For me they really don't take up that much room in my luggage, it's just something I always make room for.
We use Disney's towels. More space in our luggage, clean / dry towels for each use. We really like just picking up a towel at the pool and putting in the towel return when finished
We always have brought our own. But we only use them at the water parks and I hate that they take up so much room in the suitcase. I haven't decided what to do next time.
It depends, if we're flying we don't it does take up way to much space, but if we're driving we do. We also always stay DVC or at a timeshare for at least a portion of our stay, so doing laundry is free for us.
We drive so I am able to bring a few oversized towels. I like to line the lounge chair with them. Like others have said, they are easy to spot on the chairs.
