Hey gang! When you go in the summer, and there is alot of swimming planned, maybe a waterpark or two, do you bring your own beach towels?

I always bring my own. It makes it easier to find your chair, especially at a water park.

Nope - that's just more laundry! And I can assure you that I don't need any additional laundry!

We have a backyard pool and our beach towels tend to wear out pretty fast. This next trip in the fall I plan on taking a set of our oldest shabbiest beach towels, using them at the resorts and water parks and throwing them away at the end of our trip. Otherwise they end up lining the dog's crate :-)

I never bring my own towels. I need all the room I can get in my suitcase so I use their towels and besides, I don't need the additional laundry:sad2:

No, we don't bring our own towels. It adds too much in the suitcases, and we need all the space possible. :)

Yes I do, I prefer to have my own towel (I don't care for Disney's enough to leave mine at home). Plus it helps to be able to spot my things when at the pool or water park because in a sea of white towels my beach towel sure does stand out.

For me they really don't take up that much room in my luggage, it's just something I always make room for.

We use Disney's towels. More space in our luggage, clean / dry towels for each use. We really like just picking up a towel at the pool and putting in the towel return when finished :thumbsup2

We always have brought our own. But we only use them at the water parks and I hate that they take up so much room in the suitcase. I haven't decided what to do next time.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I know you're permitted to take towels from your room to the resort pool, but are you allowed to take Disney towels to the water parks as well?

It depends, if we're flying we don't it does take up way to much space, but if we're driving we do. We also always stay DVC or at a timeshare for at least a portion of our stay, so doing laundry is free for us.

We have these awesome Disney towels that turn into a backpack. So we cart our stuff in them to the waterpark. :)

We always use Disney towels. I'm not doing any more laundry than I have too.

Yes, you can take your resort towels. Most guests do.

We do for the water parks. I also do not like packing them in the suitcase but we like to have our own for the water parks. :)

We always use Disney's towels, no worries about "losing" them and no extra laundry!

We drive so I am able to bring a few oversized towels. I like to line the lounge chair with them. Like others have said, they are easy to spot on the chairs.
