Do you avoid parks with early EMH?

We are going April 16-23. We do have hopping on our tickets. My first plan was to go to MGM on the non EMH day and I was trying to get Fantasmic dinner Package for 10 ppl but they didnt have any PS. Also tried for the next night for the Fantasmic dinner Package but also could get no PS so I just figured we would just go to the 10 o'clock showing. So now I think I will take both your advise and switch my MGM and Epcot days and park hop over to the other park for the night shows. Now I just have to figure out how to get from MGM to Epcot and Epcot to MGM. We will only be using Disney transportation. Also will have to change my PS at 50's Primetime. Thank you for the help.

The boat runs between Epcot and MGM... you can pick it up like 2 countries into the World Showcase (I think it's Canada... you'd think I'd have the line up of the countries memorized by now!). It drops you off at the MGM entrance (and vice versa)... You can also take a bus if you want to from one to the other. Actually as far as park hopping goes, hopping btw these two is the quickest b/c of their close proximity. Depending on what you want to do, you can even take a quick diversion to the boardwalk for a treat at Spoodle's!

We go to the EMH park except for Animal Kingdom - AK actually works better on non EMH days (morning) - having said that, only go if you and the group are monring people and you are prepared to be there before park opening

I have seen this in two posts and had not heard of it. Is this going to be for everyday or just during peak season? Where did you read/here about this? If this is the case, I am THRILLED!

You didn't say when you're going, but, for 3/22-3/28/05 (BIG TIME EASTER PEAK), they've changed the MK opening to 8 AM, and EMH will be 7 AM. The 8 AM is great, but the 7 AM EMH is stressing me out a little.

That is EARLY!! I know when we did EMH we were there about 30 minutes before the park opened. YIKES!!

DH makes fun of me..."we're here before the gate keepers and janitors."
