Do Men Still Wear white tennis shoes?

Dh has white with Blue underarmour, and white KSwiss(no color) DS14 has white underarmour as well-think it is the STYLE not the color that has to be currnt

I wear white sneakers. I got a pair of these for my last trip to WDW http://www.shoebuy.com/skechers-energy-after-burn/33878/33878 and in all my 46 years these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. The also come in other colors, I just got a brown pair and am planning to get another white pair.

For some reason I feel funny about wearing white shoes after Labor day, including sneakers. I always try and get sneakers with some sort of color on them so I'm not out of season. Just a personal thing for me.

But... I think everyone is missing a key point.... who cares what they look like as long as they're comfortable. You're going to be on your feet all day so they've got to be comfy.

I was just having this "discussion" with DH. I bought him a pair of jeans from Aeropostale. He is 42 and has a nice physique. I bought him a pair of jeans that a younger guy would wear and they look great. When he put them on with his white new balance I was like... um.... not so much. So I was thinking of buying him some Vans but i know he would not wear them. So, I guess it really depends on what you are wearing with said sneakers and how it looks.
The good thing about DH is he really is a good sport and would wear them if I told him how much i love them on him

It all depends on the style of shoe and the outfit...

If you read the comments under that article, they're not particularly kind. I don't know about that rolled pant thing either.

Tube socks are good for athletics. They are also fine under long pants. DH and DS prefer short shocks with shorts.

Anyway, I'm 65, wear white tennis shoes all the time, usually with white socks.
Never had anyone snicker or gasp--or stare at my shoes in disbelief.

DH is 61. When he wears shorts, like at WDW, he wears his white sneakers and white crew socks. His primary interest is getting comfortable shoes and not spending much money for them. Some people may think he looks dorky but I still love him.
