Do I need to make profiles and link all tickets for my family?

My only frame of reference is Disney so I a bit lost planning our first trip to Universal. I created a Universal account and booked a room at RP. I purchased 5 tickets from a 3rd party website.

1. Do I need to create profiles for DH and kids like Disney friends and family? Is it better for DH to have his own account or can he just use mine for the app for things like mobile order? What about the kids (they don't have phones so won't use the app)?
2. I have paper tickets, I linked 1 ticket to my Universal account but am unsure if I should link the rest.
3. I'm assuming I can exchange my paper tickets for plastic tickets when I check in correct?

What else am I missing?

1. No account needed, you should really only need the one for mobile ordering. Most of the apps basic functions can be done without being logged in so the rest of the fam can just do that
2. I'm not sure if you can link multiple tickets, but you definitely don't need to. I'd just make sure you have the ticket info somewhere saved on your phone in case something happens to the physical ticket. You'll get a card for the hotel rooms for each person that is also used as your express pass. This card is separate from the park tickets and will need to be presented at the express pass lanes. You only need your digital/physical ticket to enter parks/take the train
3. There aren't really plastic tickets that I know of. APs are plastic and regular tickets are usually that stiff paper. You can just use printed out copies or screenshots of the qr code

You can swap your printed or e-tickets for the smaller handier size firm paper tickets at the hotel ticket desk. I like having a physical ticket, and find the print-at-home full page version too cumbersome & non-durable.
