Does anyone know how many of the yellow luggage tags you get per person???? :earsgirl:

Well we got our tags yesterday and we are 2 adults and a 3 yo and have 8 tags. Not sure how that is broken down but it isn't 2 per person.

I called CRO to set up our room ressies and Magic Express pick ups. I was told each member of the party would get 4 tags for their bags.

The CM with whom you spoke is mistaken.

For our party of three, we received 8 tags. Officially, DME provides 2 tags per guest. Six of the tags that we received had the family name and the guest name -- two per person. The final two tags had only the party name, but no guest name.

We'll use one tag person and throw the rest away.

You might want to sell the extra tags on Ebay. LOL

Seems like everything eventually shows up there and someone is willing to pay good money for. :)

do they mail these tags to you? We are leaving next friday and are not arriving until 10:30 pm so I was going to get our own luggage otherwise from my understanding we wont get our stuff until the next morning.. but what about when we head back to the airport?? wont we need tags then?? I dont have any info on the ME as my TA insisted it was automatic and I didnt need to do anything.. I kept reading posts about it and decided to call WDW myself and they indeed confirmed that I had to be on the list.. So I got that done and figure they have my name on the list but I dont have anything in writing and with us leaving in less than 1 week I wouldnt think I'll have time to get anything.. Can anyone give any suggestions?

Are the DME tags paper or plastic? I'm wondering if they could be ripped off your luggage by accident when the baggage handlers are GENTLY  placing your bags on the airplane.

they are yellow with a black mickey head on them along with the location you will be staying at, like OKW for Old Key West. They are made of the same material that the airlines put on your luggage so they will not fall or be ripped off. I went at the end of May and everything worked find, my luggage was in my room before I was even able to get into the room myself......LOL
There was no long longs at the airport either, things worked like clock work....
