Hi Folks,

I just booked my trip and my sister has decided to join me. The problem is that I am arriving on Saturday and she is arriving on Sunday. Will she have a problem using DME without me or do we just notify Disney of the two arrival times?

Also, I don't know if it will be a stretch but do you think that an 1 1/2 hours is enough time to use the DME, go to Pop (just to drop of carry on luggage)and then head to MNSSHP? Her plane is coming in at 5:30 and I don't know if we can get to MK by 7pm.

Thanks for your help!
Mandy

For your first question it won't be a problem. When your DME package comes call DME and explain that passenger one will be on flight #x and passenger two will be on flight #y. They won't mind that it is serparate flights or different days.

As far as having 1.5 hours from the plane to MNSSHP, sorry to say realistically you won't make it by 7.

Best case senario flight is on time, she gets to the DME desk in 15 minutes from the gate. Goes right from desk on to bus and the bus leaves, 5 minutes. Bus goes to POP first stop in 30 minutes. She takes her carry ons to the bell desk, 5 minutes. Gets on Disney Resort Transport again no wait and to the MK in 20 minutes. Bus to inside the MK gates 5 minutes.

At this best case, including lots of fast walking and luck. 1 hour 20 minutes.

But don't worry too much, other people will arrive after 7.

Thanks for the info!

I thought that it would be really hopefully to be at the party by 7 but it's worth a shot!

Thanks again!

Sort of the same thing but we flew into MCO and used the magical express to get to our resort. My best friend (airline worker) flew the next day and met us at the park, stayed with us at our hotel. We werent using DME to go back to the airport as my parents live in Ft Myers and drove up to pick us up to spend a few days with them. I called and asked DME if he could use one of our "returns" to MCO even though he wasnt on our reservation and they said no problem. He bussed out on Lynx and went back on DME. They were great about the whole thing.

Just call em and I bet they'll have no problems with the above...now making the MK by 7...thats a stretch!
