Jen and Jodi - I would love to share a room with you again if you'll have me and have been wanting to stay at GC. I am hoping to have my daughter with me (and will probably be paying for her share) so we will see. Hopefully they will have a deal going for that time! I'm thinking I deserve to splurge this time since I am not having any more Disney trips this year.

Sounds like something evil going on for the M&G.

Carol - I definately think you deserve the splurge and it would be great to be roomies again. It would be a great time to stay at GC - especially if we could pull off getting space at the villas!

Yep, that's what I thought of. So the theme is a haunted twilight zone full of villains, hot men holding kittens, with a special appearance by Shere Khan.

I'll be there for Labor Day weekend (probably wont be going to the parks), and I was going to do the Tinker Bell half, but it's just not going to happen for me if there's any hope of me going on the Girls Only trip.

I will have to leave Sunday night again since I am teaching now. Getting Thursday and Friday off shouldn't be a problem since I plan on requesting it as soon as I get back to work in August.

I have a list on the front page of who's going to be there in October and what their dates are. I do not have party dates listed, but I can say for myself, Cheryl, Linda, Deb, and I think most everyone who's going to be there the weekend of 10/21 - 10/23, that we are going to the party on Friday the 21st.
Will you be joining us??

Why, yes, I believe I will I may be going to WDW earlier in Oct, so just wanted to get my dates & ducks lined up now!

Beth - Yay for "starting somewhere"! 8 months from this minute I plan to be wearing my lime green shirt and eating lunch with early arrivers at ?? (maybe Hungry Bear this time?)

You betcha! Smart girl bringing the extra suitcase...I always do that when we go to WDW because their "Co D" is 5 x the size of ours...LOL

Okay, I'm just going to say, if this is done again, then this time I want in!
I didn't go the first time, and wasn't there last time, so I have never been.

I might not make it for the entire trip though. Ruben's work schedule is going to be changing at some point in the next few months so until then things are a bit up in the air for me. I will be there, but I might only be able to stay until Friday or Sat.

So if we do Co D, can we pretty please do it on a day that I'd make it? Like maybe Friday?

Anyway, putting that out there.

I will make sure you get there Beth...no worries. When are you & Ruben coming out? If you want to take him, I can probably figure that out too

I hope you all had a great week. I am ready for the weekend. We're going to see Cars 2 first thing in the morning.

I'm loving all of the planning ideas. I'm very much go with the majority on the shirts, etc. As for meals I'm looking forward to Cafe Orleans and possibly Carnation Cafe. Other than that I'm open.

Beth everything is sounding great to me as always.

Mom and I are not 100% yet but if we go we will be rooming together of course and not sure where we are staying till it gets closer and we can find out about deals. Probably either PP again or one of the harbor hotels. I will let you know when it gets closer and we make some decisions.

Jill I have never been to company D either and would LOVE to go this time too purty please!! (mom too of course )

As for the shirts I had asked Mel about getting one after the last trip and she said they were screen printed by a company and that she couldn't do indiv but that if people wanted them for THIS trip that she might be able to do another batch if there were enough people who wanted/needed them. Now I am not going to speak for her but that was just something she mentioned and if she has the "new" ones done perhaps they can do some of the old ones at the same time??? Just a thought for those of us that want/need them. No pressure on Mel though. If it doesn't work out I can always find a purple shirt.

I'd like to add a "Roommate List" section to the front page. We've had one in the past and it's nice to see who's staying where and with whom. Besides, booking a place to stay is really one of those things everyone can and should start doing fairly soon.

So if you could all do me a favor, and as you make and finalize your hotel plans either post them here or send me a PM and let me know. It also helps those still looking for a roommate to know who might be open to having additional ladies stay with them.

Hello!

Very first of all.

A very very big thankyou to all of you who sent the flower arrangement to my Mom's funeral. It was absolutely beautiful, and in my Mom's favorite colors. Purple and yellow. Was that a coincidence? Anyways, it was a wonderful surprise. You all are such dears, and I love you!

January, and those of you, who would like a castle purple tee..... I am able to get more, but it will cost more than last year's, cuz the total amount ordered will be small. I guess if any of you would like one, let me know and we will go from there. And I am more than willing to bling one up for you, if you want. I saved all of my stencils, just in case!

I have not forgotten about our new tee. I love the retro sign, and can't wait to get that going. Would you consider changing the background color? I am all for bright pink or a nice solid pink. We all stood out sooooo good in that color, and I believe it will be striking once again. If we chose that color, don't get caught up in it clashing with the original colors of the sign. We can change those up just a bit, to color coordinate it beautifully. I am saying all of this, cuz we loved that color from last year, and we want to wear it again this year. So why not use pink for our new tee? It kind of makes sense, don't you think? (Nothing like putting my big two cents in huh?)

I will be down over Labor Day weekend. The Hunt Committee has things to discuss while there.

I am also considering coming for the Halloween party. Woo hoo! We will see!

Besides all of that, I am doing pretty good. I have my moments of course. It's still unreal at the moment. My siblings and I are not even going to through her stuff for a couple of months yet. Hopefully by then, I will be ready for it.

Steph, you have been in my thoughts. How are you?
