Great update and pictures! Thank you! Have a trip planned for August at the Yacht Club. Can’t wait to see the hopefully finished product.

Has everyone been getting the email from Disney Destinations about the refurb? If so, maybe July people can feel a bit better if they don't get the email?

I shifted my trip to arrive 6/26 about a week ago and got the email today. Nice to see some communication from them even if it's really... competent? Maybe AI assembled it? Big Bold letters listed even before "Dear Guest" says "May 2025" giving the impression this is a letter for May trips- but the very last line after the letter that tells you SAB will be closed lists the reservation and arrival date of 6/26 lol.

I got the email a few days after booking and no update since. We are switching over from POFQ on 6/30

Do you have photos of the soft refurbed YC rooms? I searched and searched and couldn't find any.

I have two photos of the paintings in my room that were new. Also they put a rug underneath the bed probably to muff the echo from the floor when they just had flooring but no rugs from the previous rehab. All new paint on ceiling and trim, plus new chair and ottoman. They still have the other furniture including the small pullout table from the desk.

The closet, refrigerator & coffee area, dresser, nightstands, desk & desk lamp are the same. As are the sinks & shower. The flooring is the same as well, but I expect any repairs or replacements needed were done. The floor is lamp is gone.

Also, the rest of the pool is being filled this afternoon. No ice cream today, so I got pictures. . The red circle is the hose the water was flowing from.

I actually really liked this lamp with the table built in! They were getting wobbly so I guess it was easier to toss than repair/replace.

Thanks for sharing! So just confirming, all pools are now filled? Let's hope progress continues. I have an early June trip and planning it will be still be closed, but happy to report status when I am there and pass it along.

For anyone who has recently stayed at the Beach Club, how was the beverage cooler? Do you think it would keep yogurt and cheese sticks cool enough to remain safe to eat? Thanks!

Our experience has been that the food is kept very cold.

Thanks for sharing! So just confirming, all pools are now filled? Let's hope progress continues. I have an early June trip and planning it will be still be closed, but happy to report status when I am there and pass it along.

I haven’t been past today, but they were definitely putting water in the last & largest pool, the 1 in front of BC at 5:30 yesterday. The other 2 were already filled. There’s still equipment, pipes, machines etc all over. No sign at all of wrapping up. Also, from what I can see from the room, there’s no workers around today. So maybe they don’t work on the weekend.

For those of you who have seen SAB construction in person or studied photos more carefully, has there been any repairs or replacements on the big slide? Curious if they are doing anything about the slide joints that make for a less-than-pleasant bumpy bum ride....

We’ve only been here 3 days, but have not seen anyone on or near the slide area or the toddler slide on the lake side.
