Just listened to today's Daily Fix. Hollywood Studios are doing the paid for early entry on Mondays and I think Wednesday's in August. $69 and $39. Breakfast included.

am considering doing this because we hardly every get to do TSMM and my son loves it so much. what is the best way to get from BC to HS at that early time?

I'm not sure what time the Friendship Boats start running, but if they are running, you can take one of them to HS. Another option would be to walk. The walk from the BC to HS isn't bad at all (maybe about 15-20 mins.) and is often faster than taking the boat. On our June trip, we walked to HS once and back twice and really enjoyed it.

Yeah its the boats that I am trying to figure out. I know we could walk if necessary, but with a long day ahead, the boats sound like a better idea to me.

There is normally not a bus between the resort and Hollywood Studios unless there is bad weather (lightning) preventing the boats from running.

I'm pretty sure buses don't run between the BC and HS unless weather prohibits the boats from running.

Its funny - I have never even thought about taking a bus between them - just assumed there was one! I have to go read about the walk in between BC & HS. I am not a morning person so a longish walk is unappealing.

We are staying at BC the end of August for 10 nights. We plan on going to blizzard beach 1 day. We will not have a rental car at that time. Has anyone ever taken a taxi or uber to blizzard beach from the BC? From maps, it looks like blizzard beach is very close to the BC. Is that true?

18 days and I will be home at BCV. I cannot wait! Recent turn of events, my 13 year old daughter was bringing a friend and that friend broke her fibula/leg. Getting cast off 4 days before we leave then going in a walking boot. Shes not going now and we had to scramble to find someone else ( we did find someone and she is my daughters best friend since she was 4). Unfortuntely I had already paid for our tickets and now I am stuck with the original girls cost. I did not ask my daugthers best friend to pay anything as it was so last minute. I am sure they will give me something but not sure of how much. I got the ticket money from her friend awhile ago and had to paysome of credit card that I charged the tickets to. Do u think its wrong of me to just give them half back? Should I wait and see what her best friends parents will give me? Totally stincks for the original friend but I am out money now.....

Oh no, We made Monday, Aug. 29 our HS day, thinking it would be empty. So annoying

JMO, I would give the girls's family all the money back, because it's an injury, not like she just decided she didn't want to go.

I agree I would return all her money it wasn't her fault.

First, I'd make an appeal to WDW ticketing for a refund or transfer of the ticket into new guest's name. They may accommodate and then you can give first girl back all the $ and charge the replacement girl just her park ticket cost

how far is that from the regular bus stop in the front of BC?

I'm curious about the bus situation too. I'm checking in on the 23rd. It's a decent walk past the BC buses to get to the convention center area at YC. You would have to walk through a parking lot or a cast backstage area I believe, unless they've created another path.

Typhoon Lagoon is pretty close. Blizzard Beach is a bit farther, right by Animal Kingdom.
