Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

Once again, thank you so much for your live reports and successful missions during your trip!

My pleasure. I still have pics of all the marketplace menus that I forgot to post. Will get to those in a minute. ::yes::

Gorgeous pictures! Would you mind adding this post to the BCV view thread or giving me permission to. I'll link the thread here in a bit.

I think I added them to the right thread. :thumbsup2

ore great pictures!

May I link this post to the first page where I have some other reviews of the Illuminations view?

Of course. You can link or quote anything I post. :thanks: For all you do to keep this thread organized and fun.
:welcome: back!

I'm delighted to add you to the list again!

My apologies if this is addressed in the first post, but I may have missed it! What time do the Friendship boats start running in the morning? If we want to get to DHS early for the Jedi Training registration, will the boats be running that early? We'd like to get there by 8:15am or so. Thank you!!
Not sure on time, but wanted to say that we always just walked when we needed to be at HS early.

Anyone have any photos of the 2-bedroom club level suite? We are thinking of booking it for May but I keep searching and finding nothing but photos of 2-bedroom villas. Thanks!!

Does the Beach Club still give out paper parking passes? There was talk of switching over to just scanning your magic bands, but I don't know if that actually happened yet or not. Thanks!

They start 8 AM for most days and at 7:30 AM for EMH days and they run until 1 hour after park close. If you are heading from the BC to DHS, the boat stops at the Swan / Dolphin on the way to HS. It generally takes about 20 minutes by boat from BC/YC to DHS.

Note: The Friendships will not run if lightning is in the area.
Note: Edit to correct the resort sequence for DHS.

We have 8am Crystal Palace reservations on Sunday July 31st, how early do the buses run from BC to MK?

One slight correction, on the way to DHS the boat stops at Boardwalk before stopping at YC/BC, so the only stop you'll have enroute to DHS is the Swan/Dolphin.

We did not get one when we arrived and since we didn't go to the front desk for check in we didn't get one there either.

These make me miss my morning bowl of oatmeal in the Solarium. When people ask me what is my favourite thing about my Disney trip, there have been times when I've responded with "the oatmeal". :)
good thing for you there' still oatmeal on the menu! I'm glad they still have the side of potato casserole with breakfast. Best potato ever! I wish all the resorts had it. If I have an ambitious morning to get up early enough I'll have to make my way to BC for breakfast! But soooo hard getting up early with time change from west coast :crazy2:

Hi there...hoping you all can give some insight as to the status of the 2 BR villas... we are looking to book this for next Thanksgiving 2017 and I do not see any pictures at all of the 1 king bed, and 2 queen bed configurations. I see listed here that this is a member only option, yet on Disney's website it clearly states that they offer this- so not too sure if we would be able to book this or not?? Just how many rooms are there that have this set up?? Would it be too difficult for us to get?? Any and all helpful advice would be so appreciated. There will be 5 of us total all adults- my husband and I, my newly married daughter- her new husband and my youngest daughter who will be 20- she really prefers having a bed to sleep in versus pull out sleeper sofa. She has a bad back due to a spinal condition and really needs the support of a bed. Thanks for any help

I just booked a 2 BR Villa for next April and was not given an option to pick a bed configuration, FYI. I was going to call in a request when we got closer to our trip and see if I could get it then. If it helps, I did read that the mattress in the sleeper sofas in the refurb'd rooms (the refurb is supposed to be done this summer I think?) are good mattresses.

No paper passes, they just scan your magic band.
