We hit our 60 day mark today!! We got all of our FP's done and completed online check-in for our BC vacation!! So excited!!!

Hope you had a wonderful 4th! Wondering how you found the FP+ situation? Have read some accounts of no FP+ for Flights of Passage - did you try/get any for Pandora?

Just checked in last night, we are loving YC CL! We were given a king room with a rollaway cot for DD and our room has a full balcony. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them...here is our experience so far:

DD and I arrived at 3:30 yesterday, checked in to our room, and headed over to the MK with a billion of our closest friends . We ride our three FP rides, then grabbed a spot for the fireworks at the railroad station on Main Street. It was so cool to see the fireworks in person (we watched the live stream last year)! We watched the finale while we headed to the bus, and were fortunate enough to grab a seat on the bus for our ride home.

We headed straight back to the resort, and arrived around 9:40. DH flew in later than us, so his flight arrived at 9:15 and we wanted to meet him. We went to the CL lounge to grab desserts (beer for DH and decaf coffee for me), then went back to our room and thrilled to find our turndown service! The TV was tuned to Duffy's bedtime story, which DD thought was magical . We enjoyed our treats and headed to bed.

Now I'm up and enjoying being the only guest in the lobby for the next few minutes. I ventured out looking for coffee, but the Market at Ale and Compass opens at 6:00 and CL coffee service begins at 6:30.

Edit: CL coffee begins at 6:30 not 6:00!

Sounds like a magical start to your trip! So CL coffee was available by 6, not 6:30? My early riser dh needs coffee in the morning so wondering where he might find some. We will be staying CL in a few weeks. Are there coffee makers in the room?

We had no problems getting anything! We got Flight of Passage for the 5 of us on our AK day which is 9/5, our 4th day of the trip. I was shocked to see PLENTY of times available for it all through the day.

I'm able to do my online check in for BC but I'm getting some weird options for room requests. The choices are large balcony, upper, lower or ground floor, or toy story section. Is anyone else having issues with this? I booked through a TA and asked her to see what she could do so she's gonna call to place my requests, but I've booked through her before and this has never happened so I'm guessing it's a glitch on the site? Just curious if anyone else is having this issue.

I saw the same thing lol. I assumed it was just a glitch.

That's great news and also congratulations! HOW exciting!! To be honest I was a bit sceptical about the lack of FP+! Maybe it was mainly 30 day/off site people, however I was a bit nervous so you've reassured me. Counting down the days to our FP+ window. Thanks for sharing your info!

I was wrong earlier, CL coffee began at 6:30!

We were walked upstairs by one time of the front desk CM, and she introduced/transferred us to the CL cast members. We were offered a drink but declined because we were ready to hit the parks. It was nice!

YES!!!

There are coffee makers in the rooms- that was my very first question on this board, way back when.

At the BC they have Cuisinart pod machines and at the YC they have Keurig machines- see Post 13 or 14 for pictures.

Like Dee said, there are definitely coffee makers in the rooms. And we had a 1 liter Dasani bottle in the room that you can use with the machine, but we just drank the water lol.

I try to escape the room for my coffee in the morning so that I don't wake up everyone else. Today is the only day we had a 8:00 rope drop, so I should be fine every other morning. We have mugs with our QSDP that I can use at 6:00, then get a refill in the lounge at 6:30.

Ale and Compass.

Now, that's very imaginative.

OK, I'm going to wait until the dust (literally) settles in the YC Lobby before I make any changes to Page 1 identifying the gift shop, quick serve, lounges and restaurants.

If anyone cornered the market on bargain priced "Ale and Compass" signs, they are going to make a fortune!

The campfire is back! It currently runs four nights a week at 7:30 pm.

Thanks so much for answering! DS x2 will be so happy.
FYI to anyone who cares: Boardwalk usually runs the outdoor campfire on the nights BC doesn't. We're often the only ones at BWI's marshmallow roast (its hidden from foot traffic; BC's marshmallow roast can get very crowded on holiday weekends).

I got Toy Story Section as an option for BWI online check in (I'm doing a split stay, late Aug., and it wasn't there for BC's online check in.) Are you doing a split with ASMo? I am (1st night only at ASMo), so thought maybe the computer 'glitch' was a crossover with my earlier onsite triple-split stay with ASMo.
