Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

This is off topic: Are all Guest Relations inside the parks? Are there any outside? Or just Disney Springs? We have AP certificates to exchange for the real AP.

I purchased 2 annual passes before Covid that I need to exchange and I can't get into any of the parks without them.

If I remember correctly, the Epcot Internaitonal Gateway GS location is outside the entrance... I think you have to go through security first but not the gates

Can I make dining reservations for Feb 13 which would be considered the last day of my first reservation or is this considered the first day of my second reservation?
Yes but not for the 14th - 18th until the 60 day mark for your second reservation.

You don't need to enter any park. You can activate your APs at any Ticket window at Epcot, HS, or AK. And since there are no Ticket windows at MK just use Guest Services on the right side of the Tap points since the ticket windows are at the TTC.

Thanks for all the help. I didn't realize the ticket window was on the outside of the International Gateway.

There has always been ticket/guest services windows there. They used to be right in the middle of the walkway. After the entrance remodel, there’s a new building on the left, next to the restrooms.

Last week, we had to go through security first at the IG before activating new annual passes at guest services.

That's what confused me, I thought it was on the other side of where you scan your bands to get into the parks. I thought they moved the ticket window to the front of the park.

Guest Services at Epcot's International Gateway is between security and park entry. From certain angles it looks like you can just walk up to Guest Services without going through the security line, but if you try, someone will stop you and guide you to security. If you have to activate an AP, you can't tap into the park until you activate it. Depending on how things are set up the day you go, it can seem awkward to get to guest services from the space between security and park entry. There will be CMs in this area standing watch or milling about. Tell one what you need and they will guide you. Sometimes they need to open up a roped off section for you to get through. I think this is all probably easier/smoother if you go early in the day when all of the windows at guest services are open. Last week, I went to activate my pass in the evening and the windows were closed. Only the office behind the windows was manned. That might be why things were roped off the way they were.

Well, sorry for the confusion & my bad info then. I was going by how it is walking out…. You go past the CM & security & then past GS. I’ll edit to remove.

Does anyone have any idea when the bounce back offers for Dec 2025 come out?
We will be at the BC in Feb, so hopefully they will be out. I usually book the room now and then have the bounce back or AP discount applied when they become available.

Am I missing something? My understanding concerning Bouncebacks is that you can’t use them once announced until after you check out and then within 7 days. So you can’t apply them until your trip in February for December if the bouncebacks are available. I have a reservation in March 2025 and December 2025 so I can’t use my bounceback until March 2025 after my check out.

Yes I think you are missing what @cocoabean1 was saying. They have a trip in Feb. 2025 and they have already booked a regular stay for Dec. 2025. @cocoabean1 wants to either apply a BB Offer to their existing Dec. 2025 stay or maybe an AP discount when / if it would apply later in 2025.

Normally the last few months of the year are not released until after Feb. What @cocoabean1 can do is to book a placeholder BB during or after their Feb visit and then modify it later in 2025 when BB offers are available or an AP.

That's how I read the post.

Ok that makes sense. That’s my plan with my March 2025, to see if I can apply the bounceback if offered to my December 2025 trip. Correct?

That's a plan but it will likely not work in March. You will need to make a placeholder BB for later in 2025 but it is very unlikely that the BB will have any dates for Dec. 2025 in March. Once the Dec. 2025 dates are added to the BB you might be able to modify your BB to your Dec. dates or close.

For example you are able to make multiple BB reservations through the offering period and move them around or cancel as your plans for 2025 may change. You only need to provide the deposit for each reservation.

Perfect, thanks for all of your knowledge!

I'll do the same thing and hopefully later on I can get the BB moved to Dec 2025. It's worth a try. I can always get the deposit back.

This is correct as one of us in our party purchased a FL resident 4-day Discover Disney ticket at IG. They funnel everyone into security and then you can cross through the exit flow from EPCOT to the GS windows. It was simple and took us maybe 5 minutes to get that pass.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but you don't have to wait until you check out before you can book a bounceback. You can book the bounceback anytime during your resort stay. :)
Just an FYI to everyone who has been asking, bounceback are now extended to the end of 2025. What timing. That answers my YC CL trip in March 2025.and my reservation for Dec 2025.

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well.

I apologize for not being able to keep up here. It has been difficult for me to make time for the DIS, both with time and motivation. Sometime this summer I was going to get caught up and then when I found a bunch of pictures I had posted had disappeared I got really discouraged. I have spent a lot of time and money (photo hosting fees) to keep the thread relevant, and it pains me that it no longer looks the way I think it should and that I don't have the time to fix it.

@disneyfan150 and I are still working together to try to keep the Be Our Guest List up to date. I just added some trips she has given me going back through a couple of months of posts. If you have an upcoming trip you would like added to that post, please provide the information and we will add it.

Wishing a wonderful Thanksgiving to all!

Dee
