We're traveling with my in-laws in a few weeks, and DH isn't sure they'll want to go to the pool with us in the afternoons. I was trying to brainstorm some alternative/ unique things to do around the resort, and only came up with shopping/ snacking around the monorail loop & renting one of those little boats to explore 7 Seas Lagoon. What other recreational type things can I suggest? I know they have plenty of kids activities throughout the day, but I feel like there has to be more for the adult crowd that I'm not thinking of.
If I was lucky enough to have my parents travel with me to Disney, I think they would enjoy the following:
-Walk or monorail on over to the GF and listen to the band and/or piano (prob at the top of their list.
-Relax with a cocktail and maybe small bites at Tiki Terrace.
-People watch in the lobby.
-Rent a boat.
-MAYBE they would sit by the pool in the shade and for sure they would if grandchildren wwere involved. LOL
ENJOY this special time with them! ❤
The monorail is working just fine, save for routine maintenance and weather related issues. We've had just the opposite luck with the boat; always, there when we need it!Can anyone who has been lately tell me how the monorail is running? My last couple trips to the Poly, the resort monorail was out of service, significantly delayed the majority of our trip. In 2015, I was warned ahead of time about the scheduled maintenance, not only to the resort monorail, but also express. I havent seen anything on the Disney website, so hoping all it well this time around.
