Good morning everyone! I feel like I read the answer to this question on this thread before but it’s not coming up in my search. I know when we booked a cabana last year we had a tray of desserts delivered to us during the afternoon. Do the poolside patios also include the desserts? Or do they only come with the snacks and soda?

I booked a poolside patio in Aug 2021. It only came with the snacks and sodas.

Hi all! We are finally coming back, this time with our 4 yr old in March 2023...the last time we were there was 2018.

I have been very out of the loop....I will read and catch up, but a few questions. Are we able to get take out from anywhere like Grand Floridian Cafe? We are not planning to eat inside due to Covid (so just doing quick service which kills me, but better than not going at all)...open to eating outside at the tables or in our room. Trying to figure out where we can get takeout in general - I know I heard it was going on when Covid was bad but not sure about recently.

...Anything I should know new at the hotel? I know the orchestra is gone When is the construction supposed to end?

When you open the app tap the + sign on the bottom in the center to see current dining options. Top is “check dining” next down is QS /order food.

Gf is currently the only resort with room service!

BPK is now part of dvc. BC I has been remodeled and now Conch is getting worked on and construction is there and near boat dock. That should continue to SL and sago.

RPC is not bookable mid May through summer so we guessing those rooms then.

We still don’t know when the lobby is getting done .

I know The cafe had to go but it’s not showing on the app. My guess they would do it but you’ll have to walk there to order and waste time waiting?

We arrive late 11/16 but MK is open until 1am. We finally caught those extra deluxe hours! Yep we will head for Space Mtn

11/17 is party night and we plan on going to ER before so I’ll get more holiday pix then.

My head hurts just thinking about Space! I actually like it. But after the smooth Guardians, other coasters will never be the same. The deluxe hours were great for us! Have fun!!!!

OMG don’t get me started on Space! I’ve done a great job avoiding it all these years that I’ve gone to Disney! Just had no interest in even trying it! So my kids decide to start getting brave and tried Space this past summer for the first time, and after awhile, they convinced me to go on with them! Literally the entire time down this roller coaster, I am trying so hard to tuck my head down, because I feel like it’s going to get chopped off! I am practically in tears while my 11 yo (sitting in front) and 14 yo (behind) are hysterically laughing! I am pretty sure I said every curse word in the book, on the way down, which I will refrain from repeating here! When the ride finally stopped, I was so shook up. I could not even stand up to get out the ride vehicle!! I swore right then and there I will never go on it again. The next day, we go back to Magic Kingdom and the first thing my kids wanna do is go on Space! This time they convince my DH to come on as well. I said since he’s going, I will try again, and, hope that maybe it was just a fluke, being it was my first time! I think I cried even harder the second time and cursed even louder! I was shaking, and on top of that, felt like my neck was gonna break off, because I was tucking my head down so far! After that ride, I swore out loud to everyone, I’m done. Oh, and as a side note, I don’t think I opened my eyes for more than two seconds, in total, on both rides. Never again.

I understand the fear of losing your head on Space, but I still love it! You didn't have your eyes open so you may not have noticed, but there are always fingerprints/smudges on the tunnels when you look up. They are definitely tight and people are able to reach and touch. Glad no one has had a 'haircut' yet

Have you ever seen those really tall people ride? They get off with their heads ATTACHED! I have seen you, no worries lol!

Dd lives states away so no packing for her. However I do dh’s and let Ds do his when we go. However I shove a bunch 0f stuff in extra when they are not looking. 1 outfit a day? What if it rains, gets cold, gets warm? Hello people??

I am bringing 2 bags again this trip. My Epcot GOTG opening day AP tshirt, my F&W clothes n ears, Christmas stuff for mvmcp and HS evenings, my Lilly for staying at GF, swim stuff for SAB (we have a split with BC), jeans in case it’s cool, shorts for midday, ….. I get 2 free bags with JetBlue so I am bringing it all.

I have 4 different mvmcp options. How do you know what you want ?60 can be freezing or hot. I’m prepared!

I hope the GF ears are still there. We have the CR and Poly ones…..

Wait until the kids talk you into going on Expedition Everest!! Or do you already go on that?? There is just one part of that ride that gets me every time. My kids were late bloomers with "scary" rides, so I had it easy for many years.

I've tried very hard to get RPC for December, but it hasn't shown up with discount. I still check a few times a day and I will change to there in a heartbeat if any type of GF room shows up. It makes me so sad to imagine not staying at GF in December. For now, I was able to snag WL CL, but not a fan of the rooms for our family of 4 so it's hard to swallow paying that price when the rooms aren't great for us. Still thinking.......

Short girls have fears too!!! I’m a never again, so my head should be fine!

I love how you’re all planned out! I’m so indecisive!! I literally pack a little of everything and try on a bunch of things the morning of! I have a separate bag packed just for Disney sweatshirts lol I’m always cold, so I tend to overpack, especially in November! The weather is all over the place, definitely cold at night, so I like to layer up!!

I’d love to get the GF Loungefly and the DW Vans. Hopefully they’re both in stock!
