If anyone is there now or going in the next couple days... What time does the pool close? I saw somewhere around here that the pool is open until midnight, but I can not find anything on it now... And did not know if it was open late for summer. We are going in 2 weeks and I am hoping for the late hours

Sorry to do this, but w./out looking through the last 276 pages, is there a summary of the CSR construction? Our trip is for last week of April 2017 and will be our first stay at CSR. Really hoping the pool won't be closed? Thanks.
Buzz has a website, forum and FB group with up to date CSR info. States it is scheduled to start mid-November 2016. The rehabs usually take 18-24 months

The pool opened at 9am this morning. I was surprised because it always opened at 10am the past week and a half since we arrived. I was thinking that maybe because it's September 1st, the new hours start at 9am? I'll check it out tomorrow.

They had new lifeguard training at the Cabanas quiet pool when I was there last week. They didn't close the pool and it was quite interesting and reassuring to see what they did.

WDW Transportation

Like all properties within the Walt Disney World Resort, Coronado Springs is serviced by WDW Transportation. The only transportation option available at this location is the bus. However, Coronado is one of the few resorts on property that does not share buses with any other resort. There are 4 stops around the resort:
Bus stop 1: El Centro
Bus stop 2: Cabanas
Bus stop 3: Ranchos
Bus stop 4: Casitas

However, the buses DO NOT visit the stops in that order. When the THEME PARK (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) buses enter the resort they proceed to Bus stop 4, then 3, then 2, and lastly 1. When the DOWNTOWN DISNEY/TYPHOON LAGOON or BLIZZARD BEACH buses enter the resort they proceed to Bus stop 1, then 2, then 3, then 4. The thought process behind this transportation strategy is that you can hop on a THEME park bus to go to El Centro and then hop on a DOWNTOWN DISNEY bus and return to your room.

Is it possible to get this info updated? I read this and was very confused whilst we were there, as the numbers have changed!

Cabanas is now Bus Stop 4, and Casitas is Bus Stop 2. I know for people who've been before that's little consequence, but we got very muddled.

Theme Parks (including Blizzard Beach): 2,3,4,1
Disney Springs (and Typhoon Lagoon before 1pm): 1,2,3,4

:)

Do you happen to know October hours, and if the hot tub and pool have the same hours? We were there early February and the hot tub closed at 8pm which was disappointing. Hoping we will have the opportunity to use it next month.

Buzz's group states rumor has it that 6B is where rehab to start...if all goes as planned

Actually a good strategy. Those are the least desirable rooms so if you get them done first people won't mind being in them as much if they get a new rehabbed room. Should in theory get them less complaints for next while until all the rooms are done.

Which section has more beautiful buildings and landscaping, the Casitas or Cabanas? I have heard good things written about both areas, so I am having a hard time figuring out out which one to request.
