Are there any rooms facing DHS that you can see the fireworks outside your room?
We could see them from Cabanas 8 two years ago. This is probably true for building 9 as well.

I was sooo happy to see that different room types opened up at the Coronado this morning. It was only at 7am and they were gone by 9 but that is all I needed to change my room type. So excited that I finally got what I wanted. I hope others were able to also get what they needed.
Probably a conference releasing a room block.

I was stuck with a standard room to get the free dining. I always get water view at this hotel so I was thrilled to see it open up. They had all types of room open up even though it was for a short time.Curious, What difference room types and for when are you referring to?
I got it for Nov. 17-25th which is always perfect because usually a conference is just ending the day we get there and then there is nothing going on for Thanksgiving Week. It is nice and peaceful there. Also when we arrive there are no xmas decorations set up at the hotel but by the third day of our trip it is all decked out for xmas.I was stuck with a standard room to get the free dining. They never have big conferences the week we go. I think they are just releasing rooms here and there. I was checking at least eight times a day since free dining launched and then boom today it showed up just for a couple of hours. I hate when they tease people like this.Probably a conference releasing a room block.

I can tell you it's not complete, though. The Gartner IT convention has a block of rooms in October, and it's not listed. Buzz gets what he can based on public info.
But look at the actual hotel LIST. Gartner's pretty huge, and I suspect CSR does have room involvement.I'm guessing it's not a huge block of rooms this year:
Venue
Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2016 will take place at the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Walt Disney World Swan, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and Disney's Boardwalk. A full day of industry-specific insights kicks off on Sunday, October 16, at 9 a.m., with additional industry content throughout the week. Please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.
Love the time board! Is that at all four stops?
Best guaranteed building at CSR for both. Key word is guaranteed.Do the Business Class rooms have a good location in proximity to the pool and/or main building?
Also look at the map of the resort, building 9b is business class. I choose to stay there since I have tried buildings 3,4,5,7a and 7b. I found this a great overall location for food busses and pools.Do the Business Class rooms have a good location in proximity to the pool and/or main building?
Huh. That looks different than any rooms I have seen.I was watching a video on YouTube and the people in the video show their room. It looks different then the other rooms I have seen and I wonder if this is a mock up room. It is a king room so maybe that is why it's different? The room is in building 1. Start the video at 6:30
One other differences I see, besides the obvious bathroom/closet area, is the crown molding like what is in the suites.Huh. That looks different than any rooms I have seen.
