Hi! We are a family of 7. We will be staying business class. I requested 2 standard (2 queen beds) connecting. Does that exist? Or they all King/standard connecting? TIA!

Happy Holidays! We are planning a Christmas trip for next year, December 19-27. Originally, we were thinking about staying at a Value resort but now considering a Moderate probably POR or CSR. I'm wondering how bus transportation has been for those of you who have been staying at CSR this week. I appreciate any insight into what we might expect for bus waits. We will be a group of 10 hoping to make rope drop, come back to the resort for midday breaks, and then go back in the evenings. Thanks!

Yes they exist. Both BC rooms I've stayed in had 2Queens with connecting rooms.

here is a great website (touring plans) for that. Just click on the building then enter your room type on the left column as standard-king or standard-queen beds. It will show all the standard rooms shaded in. Almost every building has a selection of standard and waterview rooms.
The only buildings that are preferred only with no standard rooms would be casitas 1-2-3 and cabanas 9b.

We have been here since the 22nd and have never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus. We've also quite enjoyed the food court plus we were upgraded to a preferred room with a water view! We also love POR. You can't go wrong with either place!

We have stayed at both POR & CSR. The bus service is about the same. If you are travelling at peak times it is great and at off peak times you might have a wait.

We had a preferred room at POR and really liked the proximity to the food court. At CSR we were in Ranchos, not a preferred room and it was a bit of a hike but still nice. The pool at CSR was, IMO, more fun! I did prefer the overall theme and feel of POR and would probably choose POR over CSR because of this.

However... The Pepper Market has by far the BEST quick service food at a resort that we have experienced yet (we have stayed at POR, POFQ, CSR, Beach Club).

Happy planning!!

We stayed in BC this year 12/15-12/23. We exclusively used bus stop #1, which it the last stop for pick up/drop off. My DD had recently injured her knee and was on crutches so a seat was priority for her. We did not have any trouble getting her a seat, but there were a couple times that we stood (this was for pick up). We stood about 50% of the time for returns, but my DD always had a seat due to some very kind people. We only waited more than 5-7 minutes one time and that was when we were trying to get to Grand Floridian for a dinner reservation. We waited about 15 minutes for a MK bus and finally decided to grab HS bus and then GF hotel bus from there. In all, it took us about 80 minutes to make that trek. The hostess at the restaurant told us she heard it was "crazy tonight", so there may have been some sort of issue I was not aware of. As the days got closer to the Holiday, crowds really picked up, therefore the busses were more crowded.

Thanks! So they have connecting rooms with two queen beds in each room that connect to each other correct?

I can only verify that rooms 9530 and 9541 had connecting rooms. They are the rooms we were in.

We are at CSR now, and have been here since the 18th. I'm not sure what buses everyone else is catching but we have waited as long as 20 minutes for a bus. The norm being 10 to 15 minutes. Might sound like a long time, but it really hasn't been that bad. The only time we had to stand was leaving Epcot at closing, otherwise we all had a seat. The resort is nice, but very large. Trekking from Casita 4 to the Pepper Market or Dig Site has been a nightmare after a long day in the parks. The rooms have a motel feel, and definitely show some wear in the bathrooms. Our family is having a great time, but I don't think we will stay at CSR again.

Update.. Just waited 25 minutes for a bus to Hollywood Studios with standing room only and not everyone at the bus stop was able to get on the bus.

Just returned from CSR. We were cabanas 9B. Requested 2 connecting rooms and received our request. Arrived 12/1812/26. First stay here. Beautiful grounds, the bathrooms definitely need a remodel. Most cast members were not very magical, meaning no smiling or asking if I had any questions. When checking in the CM just handed me our daughters bday button without saying a word. Even when I said thank you, our daughter is turning 14 on Christmas Day I got no smile or mention of happy birthday wishes. When we checked in there was no one at counter or in line to check in . We went to concierge on 2 occasions for 2different things. One, dd lost her magic band, however we had brought "a back up" as we had them at home. And needed to get the new magic band attached to her current reservation Anyway the CM was also very cold. The other time was when I went to make a payment 2 days before check out. I was paying partial gift card and partial cash. The CM let out a very loud sigh, so much so I apologized and asked if I should come back later. Both times there were 3 cm's working and only 1 other guest, at a counter and no one in line. The CM's in gift shop were always friendly and helpful and cheerful. The busses were a nightmare. We were at stop 1 for 47 minutes on 12/18 630 pm waiting for a MK bus. 4 mornings we were at stop 4 at 6:45 am for a 8 am park open or 7:45 for. 9 am park open and waited between 25-35 minutes each time. We also waited for a very long time for busses to pick us up from parks to go back to resort. Mouse keeping was great. I don't think we would stay here again unless we had a car.

I'm noticing a trend that the cabanas bus stops #4 and #1 el centro seem to have the most problems.

This is because the pick up route for all parks except one is bus stop 2, 3, 4 then 1. So by pick up stop 3 especially in rope drop times and early evening return to park times for people the buses are already full or just about so 4 and 1 end up with the issues. We stayed in BC this past May and walked to stop 2 in the AM to ensure we had a seat. It's only a short walk (5 mins) from BC rooms., but we got tired of buses passing full in the AM mostly to Magic Kingdom at bus stop 4 and 1.

We have been using stop #2 and #1. We can usually get a seat at stop #2 but the wait times are about the same. They have still been longer than the 5 minutes reported on here. The resort says buses run every 15-20 minutes and we have found that to be very accurate. This isn't a complaint just an FYI for people staying in the future. If your expectation is to wait 15-20 minutes, then you won't be disappointed.

That makes sense, but I definitely never waited any longer than 15 minutes for a bus. I was also there during a quiet week, so that probably helps. I'm sure the time you are waiting for the bus is also a big factor.

We are planning to be there the same time!
