Does anyone know which bus stop is by the BC rooms & which one is by the preferred rooms? Trying to decide which one to book.

The difference in price b/w both is $111 for our stay...thinking I would not have to order groceries if I had access to the lounge.

Thanks!

to the family staying in casitas 4-I have some questions. Are you in a waterview? I booked waterview and so will either be the rooms facing the lake or the pool-if I get my request for casitas 4 at least. Do you think the rooms facing the pool are good ones? Or are they right on the pool without any privacy? I'm wondering whether to request a room facing the lake for more privacy (east facing however.). But I like the southern exposure in the winter because it gets full sun all day, which would be pool.

We are in Casita 4, standard room, no water view. Honestly, because the windows are in the walkway we haven't had them open much. Everyone that walks by your room when the window is open looks in. It is a little unnerving for us. Poolside would probably make that worse since there is more traffic on that side.

With the exception of some AoA rooms or FW cabins, all value resort and mod resort rooms, regardless of location or booking category, have this same problem. This is why we never bother with booking or requesting a particular view. The curtains stay closed for privacy.

We will be checking in online today! It all feels so real, only 23 days to go. We booked business class, so I know we will be in Cabanas 9B. Is this building 2 or 3 floors? Where is the BC lounge located? DH wants me to request a higher floor. We have previously stayed at CBR on the first floor and had a lot of people peek in our room if curtains were open. I prefer first floor, so trying to decide which to request. Happy New Year! :cool1:

Hello all.

I have a couple of questions about the business class rooms.

1. What is the difference between the standard and king business class rooms aside from the bed?

2. Which bus stop numbers are the closest to the business class building?

Thanks!!

We have not had a great visit so far this week. Magic bands won't let me in the room or parks. Been to front desk 8 times now. They some how have me booked in two rooms (don't know how or why...) but it won't drop the other room. I'm just about done with this trip. They have offered fast passes but I just won't to not spend half the night at the front desk every night with another person telling me they have it fixed when it's not! All the managers tell me they have never seen this problem. They have I.T. Working on it now.

Cabanas 9B is 2 floors; Coconino Cove Lounge is located on the first floor.

Hello all.

I have a couple of questions about the business class rooms.

1. What is the difference between the standard and king business class rooms aside from the bed? No difference in room size. The Standard has 2 Queens; the King has a slightly higher per night cost ($25?) :)

2. Which bus stop numbers are the closest to the business class building?

Bus stop #1 (El Centro) which is the last to be picked up/dropped off.

Thanks!!

So sorry that you are having to experience this. With the motel being so large, having to walk back to the front desk every night is ridiculous. No amount of fast passes would make up for that!! We are here now and the cast members have been less than magical, with a few exceptions. I hope they fix it for you and somehow make it right.

That was the bad part! Back and forth... They offered $200 resort credit. Each visit to the front desk resulted in a hour and half ordeal though.
So far today everything is working. I'm just mad it took three days of time and stress.
The funny part is we were offered 3 fast passes, then 3 more, then the next person tried to
give me 3 more. I told her I didn't want any more fast passes!

Clearly I don't know the ins and out of the mb tech but it seems to me the easy fix when people have extreme issues is to give them a new band and start over.
I think it would be faster and less chance of issue to add a res and fp to a be band vs trying to sort out and delete mistakes:confused3

I have been feeling like I'm going to have issues on my next trip just because of so many variables like three rooms and 13 people

Hello all. Hubby and I decided on CSR for Easter break 2015 with our kids (7 and 11). Need tips on where to stay (Preferred for Casitas or Cabanas to be near Dig Site) and get on the Disney buses. Is preferred worth it or should I just get a regular room and request Cabanas?

We plan to do most of our dining either at the parks or even offsite as we are driving down. If we are eating off site, what is the nearest restaurant we can drive to?

Thanks all!! We are excited. We previously stayed at French Quarter 5 years ago. We cannot wait to return to WDW.

Quick question- do Business Class rooms have iphone dock like we have had at Wilderness Lodge?

Does anyone have a link to the January recreation calendar? I've searched and searched and can't seem to find it.

First off, thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread. You have been most helpful! I've spent the last few days reading through 180+ pages of posts, haha. I've been organizing our family vacation for a little while now, and I think I've convinced them CSR is the resort for us. We are going in September, so I just hope I can remember everything I've read. ;)

I apologize if this has already been asked, but how long is the walk from CSR to the McDonald's on property? How long is the walk if we took the BB bus and then walked from BB to McDonald's? Is Buena Vista Drive very scenic? Busy road? All a sidewalk path next to the road? Any details are appreciated. I don't personally like Mickey D's, but I know a couple family members will want to frequent it!

Although we are staying BC, I think I may still want plenty of bottled waters and protein shakes on hand. I have read that CSR charges a fee for deliveries from carries (if I order from Amazon or GG). Can someone tell me what the fees are? I am trying to decide if it is worth it or not.
