Lounge is SO crowded today!! We have stayed here the past few years during this time and this is by far the most crowded I’ve seen it!!

Holy cow. I did not love AKL CL last time I stayed (years and years ago), but the food looks fab. May need to return. Hope you’re having a blast!!!

Morning!

Did not take pictures of the food this morning. Everything was the same except for turkey bobotie and sausage for a side dish, as well as blueberry muffins.

The only things different were the hot apps. Tamarind Meatballs plus rice and I think it was some sort of seafood soup? Sorry, there were no signs.

Dd has been mosaic 2 with JB but not able to reach mosaic 1 for 2026. She got an email she can keep current status is she spends $1000 on JB resorts. There were very few WDW options but got AKL pool view for 2 nights just above that $1000. We considered CL but I don’t love the food there so we will try a lunch at Sanaa instead. Perhaps try a bar an evening.

We will be starting 2 nights at CSR. Cl there was available but your pix reminded me I don’t care for the food there either. Besides, CSR has so many bars and food options I think flexibility this trip is better. It’s a mom n me trip so we can ride rides and have alcohol.

However with DGD for Mother’s Day weekend I do have CSR cl booked for convenience with a baby who will be 1 yr and trying new foods. Just having fruit and snacks will be nice.

To cl or not. Honestly price is a big factor. I used to pay as small as $75 a night more up to $250. Nowadays it’s just such a big $$$$ the worth it factor is hard to attain.

It is nice it’s an option though. Sometimes it’s just what we need! Love seeing cl pix and people enjoying it!

Question for bounce back offers. I have 2 dates for 2026. The first with my sister in January staying Poly CL. She cannot go as her husband was diagnosed with cancer and will be doing chemo. My next trip is April with my mom staying BWI CL. Here is my question. Can i take the Poly ressie and move to my dates in April and change it from my name to my nephews name ?

The primary guest name on a reservation can't be changed on a BB. You can however change any of the other names on a reservation.

Not sure if this is new news, but the Polynesian Club level now has “lunch” during the midday hours instead of just snacks. Today it was pulled pork, vegan stir fry and bean soup.

Seems like a couple of CL’s are stepping up midday offerings recently hope they all follow suit.

AKL CL trip coming up in 45 days so now I'm back on this board starting to get excited! Love to see the food offerings that are current. Wish the tree and decor was still up when we go but alas! @mrsap kinda specific question but was the smoked salmon out at breakfast every day like they used to have...unless I missed it in the pics I scrolled quickly through a few pages!

Hi! Had breakfast at GDT on 12/25, so missed AKL that morning, but they did have it the following mornings! What the hell are the Mets doing?!

Haha please I've been very upset with them but everyone else feels like "this is the right move". I feel like I'm the only crazy one! If they had at least kept Pete I'd be happy! And Rangers need to be way more consistent to get anywhere this year. Don't talk to me about the Giants...All my teams are giving me stress!

Good to hear about the smoked salmon! It's kind of my go to breakfast there. Hardboiled eggs and salmon on toast...sounds kinda gross I know but I supplement it with whatever I cook in the room. I do so love the feel of AKL CL and the idea of it is helping me get through this already long winter!
