Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

Does anyone have the email address for the boardwalk front desk?
They didn't send my final charge portfolio and my stay disappeared from the app before I had a chance to review my many, many, many charges.
You don't contact the Boardwalk Front Desk. You can email guest.services.billing@disneyworld.com. Send an email with your name and resort reservation number requesting a copy of your final folio statement. Or phone: 407-828-5630 during normal business hours.

It normally takes 1 business day.

Considering a split stay for next May with the first 3 nights at BWI, around Memorial Day weekend and was trying to do some homework about room views. Is there anything at BWI equivalent to the infamous "roof gravel" over at BC/YC to look out for or will we be fine booking Resort View? Normally it wouldn't bother us but we have a friend coming who's a first timer and would rather not subject her to a bad view.

Having stayed on the Inn side many times, we have never had a bad view like those at BC/YC. They may be there, but I have never experienced one. I would avoid a room that faces the entrance to BWI/BWV, not a bad view, but could be a tad noisier than within the Courtyard area.

I had a room once facing the entrance. It was on the 2nd floor right next to the walkway to the bus stop. People were walking by and talking until late. Luckily it was only 1 night before we moved to the villas.

We are renting a BWV Studio Standard View in January. Is there any need to make a room request for this type of room? We don't have a whole lot of preferences in terms of walking, needing to be close to anything, etc. We will be going to Epcot twice and HS once so maybe that matters. Just looking for any insight into those rooms and if it is worth making any sort of request. Thanks!

We like to request a dedicated room. Meaning, not connected to a 1-bedroom. Less noise since there’s no connecting door. I also think most if not all dedicated studios are a decent closeness to the elevators (at least standard view ones), which can be important since there’s only the one set of elevators.

We like the balcony view for Epcot fireworks viewing from the Jellyrolls end of the building … higher floors have the better view

The Standard view rooms look onto the front entrance, and some can see the high Epcot fireworks. Only BW view or P/G view would be on the Jellyrolls end of the building, and the BW view would have a view of Epcot fireworks.

Yes misread … BW view is our favorite … we were 2 nights in a standard on the 2nd floor as well last week and though the view wasn’t good being on the lobby level floor was a big positive since the view really didn’t matter

Hi there! Booked a bounce back at Boardwalk Inn for 10/28 to 11/6.

When Boardwalk shares a bus with Yacht/Beach, who is picked up first? And do they only share during non-peak times of day?

All the times that I’ve stayed at the BW (since 2006) I don’t ever remember BW sharing a bus with the YC/BC. However, BW has always shared a bus with the Swan/Dolphin while we were there.

Congratulations that's a great time to visit. The MNSSHP parties are winding down, and Epcot's Food and Wine is still going for another week or two.

They normally only share buses during slow non-peak times between the hours of about 10:30 AM - 4 PM and for BW it is only AK and MK buses. It can and does vary but the most common route is BW, Y/C, and then B/C. Simply for traffic flow for the buses.

In the past few years we've only had a bus share with Boardwalk and YC/BC twice on the way to the park (and both times we were shocked since it's so rare!). Both times the order of pick-up went YC -> BC -> BW. We've shared more often coming home from parks, and it seems to go in the same order since we're usually staying at the YC and get dropped off first.

I stayed at Boardwalk last month. It was a high occupancy time with Marathon Weekend, Jersey Week, and Veterans' Day Weekend. We shared buses with Yacht and Beach Clubs for Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. We were the last picked up and the last let off. All seats were full and many people had to stand or wait for the next bus. We rode at various times of the day and made two round trips each to AK and DS.
