Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

Just to confirm that you have a regular resort room and not a DVC unit. Do you want to be near the elevators or the lobby level on the 2nd floor?

Dave

I booked a regular resort room. I’ve heard the hallways are extremely long, but all I want is a decent view. We just don’t want a dreaded dumpster, parking lot or room view. Any advice I would love!

Good morning
I have a resort view booked for the week leading up to Easter (nyc school break) I got a great deal but now I’m asking the experts here for the best location I should request. I know it’s just a request but I definitely want the best odds for a decent view. Thanks in advance any advice is appreciated!
Ask for the fireworks view.

First the hallways on the Inn side are not that long. The hallways in BLDG 2 on the DVC side are long, long, long.

All these rooms are within 15 room of the main elevators:

2nd Floor rooms with a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard - 1209 - 1308
3rd Floor rooms with a balcony overlooking the Village Green to the BWV, partial view of BW - 3273 - 3281
5th Floor rooms with a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with Epcot High Fireworks - 5296 - 5303

Note the 3rd Floor is the longest of the Inn side floors so skip rooms 3201 - 3232

Thank you!!!! That really helps! I’m excited!!

The champagne raspberry didn’t last. Dh ate like my whole slice!!
I guess it hit the spot. It would make sense that next time you will need 3 slices.

The place was gorgeous! The offerings? So many I would like to try.
They have 8 regular and 4 rotating options.

We still have the chocolate because it’s so rich you can only eat a few bites.
Was the sponge dry? There have been a few early reports over on the Restaurant thread about some slices being dry and the buttercream not being quite as flavorful as guests expected?

Does anyone have the email address for the boardwalk front desk?
They didn't send my final charge portfolio and my stay disappeared from the app before I had a chance to review my many, many, many charges.
