Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

So Disney Springs only right? I assume nothing around Boardwalk or MK? That day we will be at MK. Thanks!
Every resort bar at BW, YC / BC, and Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve. For MK area you have some good options. Tambu Lounge at GCH (Poly), Territory lounge, and Geyser Point at WL. You get the basic idea here.

Other destination resort locations: Rix Sports Bar and Grill at CSR (you can make a reservation) with 30+ TV Screens. Disney has even had Super Bowl at Atlantic Dance Hall in the past, stay tuned if it is announced for Feb. 2025.

It was the park only LOL
You’ll need to hit up one of the nearby resorts, none of the parks have anywhere you can watch while there. I’ve had to stream many a soccer game on my phone while in them.

Tambu is my usual resort spot for watching sports just bc I love the food there.A bunch of people were watching the NBA Finals there when we stayed at Poly last year.

Dumb question: are the gingerbread houses freshly constructed every year? Or being repurposed? I still have a picture of the house from last year and it looked identical to the current one.

It is getting closer to my check in date at Boardwalk villa Boardwalk view studio (Feb 2025).

I would prefer a dedicated room (no connecting doors, due to noise concerns), but I understand there are only a hand full of those, boardwalk view.

From a view and noise standpoint, My priority should be the highest floor possible (I would love a 5th or 4th floor) or dedicated studio room? I understand the boardwalk can be noisy at night, but we usually get to the hotels from the park later at night (8-9 pm), and we always use a white noise app to sleep.

I need to ask the renter to contact DVC and make the requests. thanks!

I request 5029, 5031, 4029, 4031, 3029, 3031. Almost always get one of them. They are dedicated. 2 weeks ago got 4029.

I wouldn’t call it a deal breaker but if you get a family in the other room, you may hear kids. I heard nothing in my room.
last question:

If you have to pick one , a high floor with connecting room, or a low floor (first, second) dedicated?

High floor. 2029 and 2031 are also dedicated but I don’t put it on my list. You’ll get noise from the boardwalk plus the balcony is solid wood.

We were pixie-dusted Boardwalk view our last trip (had reserved Garden/Pool) and were on the 5th floor in front of that basketball game and we could still hear all the bricks people were throwing, followed by the immediate "ohhhhh!!" We needed to put on a white noise App to drown out.

I wish I could trade you. I tried so hard to get a 2 br BW view, but was only able to get GP view. I’d take noise for that view any day!
