Is this for a room only ressie, or were you able to combine FD and this offer?

The reservation doesn't have to be room only, but it cannot be used in conjunction with another discount. You can book a package with the discount and the %off will be applied to just the room. All free dining deals require paying rack rate for your room. You can never ever combine two discounts--EVER.

The more pictures I see, the harder it is to decide which room to stay in! :lmao: I just saw a video on youtube and it showed a tour of Nemo, Cars, and the Lion King rooms! sigh.... We were planning on staying in Nemo in February of next year for DD's 3rd birthday, but now I don't know! Well, since I can't book for the next few months, maybe some pictures from you guys when you stay there will help me decide. :goodvibes I know that whatever we choose will be amazing though. Such a beautiful resort!!! Can't wait!!!

Soo looking at the pictures once again, I am beside myself with anticipation to see the LM section. Let's all chant "Little Mermaid! Little Mermaid!"
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I sent the 15% info to my travel lady and I haven't heard back from her. I am praying I will save a little more on the trip:)

We used the 15% Visa Rewards promo and saved over $300 on 6 nights in Cars Family suites June 24-30. I never get emails about the Visa Rewards promos until they are a few old. Glad I saw it posted here!

Can anybody direct me to a AoA resort map? TIA

I'm so thankful to this thread! While browsing it last week I realized that the cars suites are opening earlier then projected!

When we booked 180 days out only the Nemo Suites were available and we had hoped for a CARS suite as DS is a HUGE Mater & Ligthening McQueen Fan. Thanks to all of you I called and switched!

We will be staying at the new AoA in a Cars Suite July 11-July 17 for DS' 3rd birthday trip! Unfortunately we are still paying rack rates :(

Can't wait to start seeing photos and reviews!

We just booked Lion King suite on yesterday morning, then changed it in the evening to Finding Nemo :) It is such a tough decision they allow us to make :rotfl2:

I also found a menu listing (not sure how accurate it is) but it seems pretty cool! (Find the Portugease sausage paird with NAAN bread to be -- odd though :thumbsup2

Can't wait for August!

We're checking into a nemo suite June 4th! Doing a split stay at BLT first so we're super excited

Just found this thread!!!
We are planning a trip next year more likely in September, I am a family of 5 and bringing a friend for his first time. Originally i was excited to be going back to the Poly but when he said he wants to go well, now we need a room for 6!
I was pleasantly surprised to see the animation building will be our answer! this will take me a couple of days to read threw all the hundreds of pages!!!

I'm seriously debating staying in 2 LM rooms for our trip in December. DH won't care & the boys will get over it being a princess room, lol. It all depends on whether FD comes out & AoA is added like it was for the August-September FD.

My question, we've stayed at POR, several times, always stayed in building 38, which is in the back. Does anyone think the walk from the LM rooms to the food court &/or lobby will be any longer than the walk from the back of POR to the front?

I haven't stayed in that section of POR before, but I have stayed at POP in the 80's/90's building which would be equivalent to LM section at AOA. When we stayed in that section we cut across parking lots and it was only a 5 minute walk to main building and buses. Hope that helps :) :)

candee, this is a good comparison between the 80's/90's section and the LM section.

One thing I have noticed that is a bit different between the two is the LM buildings curve away from the parking and main building while the 80's/90's building curve toward parking and main building.

Hi. I'm just planning my trip. I usually stay at French Quarter ... and love it.
My daughter REALLY wants to try AoA... but we can probalby only afford Little mermaid suites.. What do you think? Are we going to like it? I'm worried the room will be too small (3 of us... my daugter is 9).

PS ... how do you add a ticker to your signature?
Thanks.

My husband and I stayed at Pop last fall with our 11 year old and did just fine. But we're not really resort dwellers, mostly just sleep there.

I'd love to do AoA but fear I'm too lazy to walk from the back of the resort, probably because we push ourselves with very long days in the parks. I really wish they had mixed some of the non-suites and suites around the resort instead of all at the back.

As for the ticker, find one you like on someone else's signature, click on it, and that usually takes you to a site. It will give you a code you can copy and paste into your own signature, available under "User CP" here on the DIS.

In my opinion a party of three will be perfect for the LM rooms (they are standard rooms not suites). Yes, the room will be smaller by square footage than at POFQ, but value rooms are not (again in my opinion) tiny. You'll be fine.

One option you can use for a ticker is distickers.com. Like most vacation ticker sites it is step-by-step and once you make your choices the code for your signature is provided at the end, and you copy and paste it into your signature.
