Hi Tiffany ! Glad u were watching ! My sister just decided on a whim to head over there and never used ustream before so her text messages kept interupting the stream. Could you see ok?

I might be moving down before my LM room opening. I am going to keep my reservation even if we are settled in before then. But it would be awesome if I could get a group of us Disers together to do a live stream from AOA.

She is lucky. :goodvibes I would love to go to WDW anytime I wanted to. The video was good. I saw lots of thing I want to buy. A live stream from aoa with disers would be awesome. :goodvibes

The Lion King rooms look amazing in the pictures I've seen. I recently saw the musical so I've fallen in love with it all over again.

I'd love to stay at the hotel, but it is hard to justify the price when I live so close. :\

Probably won't have time to post pics until I return. Both bathrooms are very spacious. The one off the main room has a separate sink and shower/toilet area. It has a tub. The bath off the bedroom has a wak in shower. These are both bigger than the bathrooms at most other resorts.

Excellent! Thanks!! Have a wonderful time!!

Hi
Pixiepoppins, thanks for your review!! How are the beds? Are they comfortable or real hard like Pop's. Pop's beds used to be comfortable, but last Nov. we had to switch
resorts, because my family got backaches from them. I would love to stay here with my DGD!!

I just booked our trip!!! Our trip being questionable...but I wanted to lock in the prices before the ticket price increase.

Were doing 4 or 5 nights at Art of Animation with my boyfriend and best friend. Booked on a pin for free dining!!

I am excited but doubtful if we will for sure go!

How does the LM building distance "look/feel" to those up close there now?
Also, any pics of the open bridge yet? Did I miss it?

For those of you that are staying there at AoA right now, if you have the time, would you please take some photos of the progress on the Lion King buildings? I am super excited about our upcoming stay there and cannot seem to get any photos of what is going on with the LK progress. Thank you!!!!!!

How far back are the photos??? I am dying to see these!!!!!

It looks like from photos of the suites, there are coffee pots in the rooms. I am wondering if the LM rooms will also have coffee pots. I am so excited for our trip in Oct.!

OK, I just caved and moved our reservation from Pop to the LM section. I'm still not excited just because of how far it is from the main building and bus stops.

My agent says she has a map of the resort and thinks she saw bus stops down at that end of the resort. Anybody seen or heard anything like this? I'm doubting it but it sure would be nice.

The bus stops are in front of Animation Hall from what I understand. I can't post the link of the map I have saved because I have very few posts. I will try to post more so I can put the link here

Is the pool gated....to keep all the POP people out ;)

Yes, the pool is gated. You must wave your room key in front of a little box to open the gates. Likewise, you have to do the same to enter the resort room buildings.

Don't know if it was mentioned yet, but even the hallways are very cool in the Nemo buildings too. The feeling of being under water is carried inside with blue walls, carpeting that looks like the EAC and beautiful paintings of Nemo charactets. This resort really achieves total immersion in the stories. This is nothing like ASMo where you just have huge whimsical icons all around...here you feel in the movie.

That's how I understood it too since that would mirror Pop. I'm guessing this is one of those "the CM on the phone told me" things, but just thought I'd double check. She was saying there was a second stop down there.

The CM on the phone also told me there are no coffee pots in the rooms but the photos of the suites have them. I am oping the LM rooms have them too so DH has something first thing in the AM. Otherwise I was going to bring a cheap one I found on Amazon that does not have a pop (just the mug), which I would then use at work.

Yes, if you are looking at the resort, the bus stops are to left end of animation hall.

Both of my bus rides yesterday after picking up guests, circled around AoA and the service road around Pop and exited out of Pop. Note it did NOT pick up Pop guests. A tranportation CM at MK said this was neccessary because the buses are unable to make the turn out of AoA. I hope that is temporary due to construction because it is quite a trek around to the Pop exit.

Confirming there are coffee pots in the suites.
