I'm off to find the Sports pictures thread so that I can share a few pictures that I have ready. I took pictures almost each day of my 8 days, so there will be many. For today, I only have some ready though, so you'll have to keep checking back!

Thank you so much for posting the pictures of the room on the picture thread. I was worried about the vanity area and room. Every picture I have seen has not shown it with a curtain...so glad to see your pic and know that I dont have to bring one THANK YOU

No problem! That privacy curtain was a big help with 4 of us in one room. If someone was in the washroom we'd say "Stay in there, I'm changing out here!" .

Hi. Anyone stayed in the Hoops section & liked it? My son is a big basketball fan so I wanted to check that section out as far as location to bus/foodcourt etc.

The Hoops Hotel is right behind the preferred section, Surfs Up. Not a bad location as you can cut through the sidewalk for Surfs Up. I don't think there is a bad location anywhere at Sports, although I think the Touchdown section is the closest being non preferred.

Just stayed there in May, building 3, third floor and only three rooms from the end and we loved it. The layout is pretty compact and I'd say we maybe walked 5 minutes from the bus stop to our room 3306.

Were the fireworks pretty easy to see then? Do you think they could be seen from other parts at Sports too?

We're hopefully staying in the Touchdown section at the beginning of September and I'm wondering if our chances will be good of seeing the Frozen fireworks from the resort on the weekend we're there.

Very easy to see! Unfortunately, we didn't realize until the last night that we could actually see them -- heard them very clearly in our room. Not sure how clear it would be from other sections. We couldn't see from our room (trees in way), but walked to stairwell near parking lot and could see them clearly!

We loved it! We were in Hoops 2 and I found the location to be very convenient! I agree with PP that there are no bad locations there! But if he loves hoops, that's a great section for you!

Does anyone know the selections of food in the Market actions of the Food Court? I can't have eggs so want to stock up on some breakfast items in the room fridge on day 1. The most info I've found is a picture on Dis Food Blog, but can't tell what all is in the cases. Thanks everyone!

From my second visit to ASSp. Our room was in Hoops. It was a ground floor corner room right near the staircase overlooking grass and a parking lot. Spectacular location! Quiet, and very close to Surfs up; our walk to the pool/food court area took only one minute. I can't say enough about this resort! From someone who started coming to Disney yearly since 2003, staying mostly deluxe first, then moderates; the bang for your buck that you get at a value is extraordinary. From the carnations at check-in to the cheerfulness of EVERY cast member there, to the perfectly timed and plentiful bus service, to the super cleanliness of the entire resort, just WOW! I love All Star Sports!

No, there is no ceiling fan in the All-Star Sports rooms, or in any of the value resort rooms.
