Disneyland Resort Cast MEP sign in question....

Hi there! So I live and work at WDW but had a question about DL MEP use. I know you use your Blue ID and then tell them how many you have. Question is, I will already be there. My kid's plane lands mid-day. Can I go in for the morning and then bring them in when they get there? I do have a MEP ressie for the day.

Well, I did do it once. Same situation, I was there early and friends arrived later. Because when you enter alone there, it is a self admit and has nothing to do with your MEP. Very different than the way it works at WDW. Then when my friends arrived, I exited and re-entered under my MEP with them.

But this was before park reservations. Pre-Covid. You would need 2 park reservations for the same day, one under self admit and one under MEP. Not sure if that is possible now that it uses the app for park reservations.

As a backup, I had a couple of comps as a backup for my pals, as I was unsure if it was going to work. I am also not sure if this is against any particular rule.

Thank you! Yep, I did it but I did need two reservations like you said.

I really wish reservations would go away but I know they aren't! But a girl can dream. At least for self admit!

I agree! I am returning in August. I wish they would let CMs book more than 3 days IF they have an onsite park reservation. VERY few CMs would have a room booked on property on any particular day, most CMs entering are locals. It would not affect crowd levels. Oh, well. I am back to DL in August for D23 Expo.
