That's completely bizarre though. So, the county is under a stay-at-home order and everyone is supposed to remain in their home except for essential work and errands, but the movie theater and indoor family fun centers are open? Why? That's not essential work or an essential errand. So it's open but no one is allowed to go. Ooookaaaaay.
I'm big on coronavirus caution. We are 100% mask wearers if we are outside the house, even if we are walking to our own mailbox. I haven't been inside a building other than a doctor's office, pharmacy, grocery store, and Target twice because my son needed clothes, since March. We enrolled our son in in-person school but are working from home to compensate. But I can't blame people from saying, "Hey! Movie theaters are open! It must be safe to go and I really wanted to see Tenet. Let's go this weekend!"
The mind boggles. How can you say something is safe enough to open, or can open safely, but it's absolutely not safe to go there?! I'm getting super sick and tired of all the logical inconsistencies and double speak coming from our elected officials. So, to loop back to Disneyland:
Restaurants can open. Disneyland has restaurants.
Hotels can open. Disneyland has hotels.
Pools can open. Disneyland has pools.
Shops can open. Disneyland has shops.
Playgrounds and family fun centers can open. Disney is basically a giant playground and family fun center.
I don't get it
