I had to laugh at the bed height comment. We had a great corner suite at the East end of the Wonder Tower the December that I was 8.5 months pregnant with my 1.5 yr old. I had to drag the ottoman from the chair over to bed and leave it there to climb up on to get in and out at night (and you know how many times a woman that pregnant has to get out of bed)!

The beds are so comfortable, though! And that room had the best fireworks view! See my other comments in the 3rd paragraph for more of why it was great.
If I can give my two cents, we live in the area and use our points to stay at the hotels here at least 2 or 3 times a year, when we have friends in town that want to do the parks. We also got married at the GC. That being said, as much as we love the GC - our favorite hotel for architecture and atmosphere, if it isn't a special occasion, we don't feel the extra points you have to pay for it are worth it for an average stay... unless you want the special views that are right on top of DTD and balconies to hang out on.
The DLH has really some wonderful views - just ask for a room on the higher floors. Make sure to ask to have a room in the Dreams Tower, as for a park view, so you can see the fireworks (and hear the extra loud fireworks music from the PP concierge balcony when you have your sliding doors open). All of the DLH rooms have sliding doors that you can open and have balcony rails in front of them.
Also, if you are in the MK and the kids are tired, pop them directly on the monorail in Tomorrowland and then take the shorter walk into the DLH. Also, we think the pool is superior at the DLH. There is a special "little ones" slide at the Neverland Pool that my 3 yr old LOVES! If you are in the Dream or Wonder Towers, you can easily walk to and use the special entrance into DCA that is there for PP guests. It comes out right by Mulholland Madness - great for easy access to TSMM.
Have fun!
