Disneyland 70th speculations and news

No idea. Fantasmic changed first. @OlliePop27 when did you first notice the time change?

I noticed it last week. Fire of the Rising Moons has also been updated to 9:35.

I'm assuming the start times were pushed back 5 minutes because of timing with PTN. I also think during the summer it's hard to start PTN much earlier than 8:45 because of how late it stays light outside.

PtN is running on 7/4.

For some reason, especially with the blackout dates for the lunch parade package, I assumed it wasn’t running.

People have been complaining about not enough entertainment. It looks like entertainment is now being offered in every land.

Pixar Pals Playtime Party opened at Fantasyland Theater and Stitch's Interplanetary Beach Party Blast opened at Tomorrowland Terrace. Tapestry of Happiness times have been adjusted.

I still can't find a schedule for Carthay Circle projections.

Yes, I was trying to warn someone about that in another thread. Park hopping from DCA to DL after 9 pm, is going to be tough. With PTN, Fantasmic, fireworks, and the SWGE shows, the park is pretty much one big bottleneck.

sounds pretty crazy. even if you wanted to enjoy the rides while the 4 hours of entertainment goes on...you won't be able to get there.

You can, but you kind of need to be familiar with how to navigate the park and crowds in the dark.

It is a great time to second rope drop Fantasyland but you need to be in Disneyland in order to do it. Entering during the first PTN is very difficult so I would be in DL no later than 8:50 pm.

Yesterday the notification on the app still had the old times. Tapestry of Happiness was listed as starting at 10 pm but started at 9:55 pm.

Yesterday, post its, postcards, and pens were still somewhat difficult to find. They restocked the beige jacket in all sizes.

For those looking for an inexpensive nostalgic item, look at the mints. I bought one last week because I wanted the tin. Inside, the mints are shaped like the characters (both front and back). It is a nice purchase for $5.49.

I saw some at the checkout in the gift shop at the Grand. I wish I bought some. I noticed it after I completed my purchase and for some dumb reason, I didn't want to make another purchase.

I love the mints, too...but you're making me sad with the update on Post-its and pens! Surely they've got to keep restocking these items! Well, only a couple more weeks and I will know !

Not exactly 70th related, but on Wednesday I saw this talented artist working on a chalk art piece in DTD ahead of the release of the new Lilo & Stitch movie. Today we saw the completed piece of art. It’s just stunning!
