We took our first YES class last Wednesday and really enjoyed it. We did the Dynamics of Technology one. It started out with us discussing the science behind everyday objects (shoes, plastic bags, pony tail holders, etc.), and then we went on to ride Mission Space. We hung out there for a while and talked about different space stuff then moved on to Test Track where we were asked to figure out how cars were affected by space technology. Then we wrapped it up by riding Spaceship Earth. That's just a general outline of how the class was. There was a lot of open discussion and math problems (DD did not like this

). There was about 4 groups and each had between 6-8 kids. Since we were in the park before it open (7:45) we were asked to not take any picture until the park officially opened which was a bit of a disappointment but totally understandable.
Overall it was a good experience and I highly recommend it!
One more thing..when you call about picking your tickets up at will call, the little computer voice thing will tell you will call closes at 2pm in the parks and 4pm at DTD. This is not true. Will call is open until 1 hour before the parks closing, and until either 10 or 11 at DTD. If anyone has any other questions, I'd be more then happy to answer them
