Disney Y.E.S. Program

Hi,

I'm thinking about signing up my DD(9) for one of these classes in September. Does anybody have any experience with the Animation Magic class?

Also, if I purchase the 8 day premium pass it says you get 8 day PH plus 5 admissions to the waterparks and Disneyquest, so if I use 1 WP admission one day I would still have the additional 8 PH days? Also, I could use a park ticket and a WP ticket in the same day?

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

Yes you will have 8 days at the 4 major parks and 5 days admission to the WP and Quest. You can use a WP and one of the PH passes in the same day

My Ticket Order Confirmation for the 8-Day YES Premium Package states 8 visits to your choice of the water parks or DisneyQuest.
Does anyone else's state 8 instead of 5 visits?

The number of "plus" visits is equal to the number of main park days on the ticket, so an 8 day ticket will have 8, a 5 day ticket will have 5, etc. Keep in mind that unlike park days, those "plus" features are per *visit* rather than day - DH has used as many as 3 in a single day, playing a round of golf on the 9 hole course before meeting us at the waterpark and then heading to Disney Quest in the evening.

Thanks Colleen27!
When I registered, I thought it stated 5 visits with the 8 day premium package.
Thanks for the other info about visits - I had planned on our non-park days to go to waterpark then DisneyQuest later in the day/evening.

Yes, that is what mine say; 8 visits to your choice of the water parks or DisneyQuest.

When I was looking at the prices, I thought it read as 8 day PH and 5 day WP/quest options also! Glad to know if I book these we will, in fact, get 8 of the "plus" visits

Thanks for the info everyone re: 2 parents although it has become a non-issue now as DH says he is fine not joining us for the class.

Can anyone give me information on the class for 5 year olds? I have not looked through this thread since its so long. The class is about how things move.

My 5 year old (almost 6) loved it. We went today. We met right in the middle of the turnstiles at MK. When it began there were 12 kids and they divided us into 2 groups of 6. The leader talked about different types of energy and had some examples to show us. During the 2.5 hours we rode 4 attractions - the Magic Carpets, It's a Small World, Pooh's Adventure and the People Mover. The kids also had some time to draw a ride that they would create and they also worked on making a model. DD5 said it was awesome. We were done right on time, started at 8:15 and finished at 10:45am.

I think this was a misprint because all mine say 5!

If someone has already mentioned this, I'm sorry but I missed it......

Just booked my twin boys in the September 28th World of Physics: Energy & Waves class and purchased our 8-day Park Hoppers for our family of 5. Woot Woot!:cool1:

We signed up for Oct 16th for my 2 kids and were able to get 6 day premium passes for our family with a very substantial savings!! What a great program and the kids are going to LOVE it!

Hlkeck, are you driving or flying? I am chomping at the bit; want to book but have no flights because of price. I know the classes fill quickly but what do you do? Any advice much appreciated!!!

I signed up DD and her BFF for the Oct 23 Wild by Nature class. :thumbsup2 Also saved $660 on our park hoppers. :faint: I'm floored at the savings. The girls are really looking forward to this.

We intend to fly - but the flights aren't out yet for SW or Airtran. Few more weeks before I can book it. But if we have to drive - we will! Staying flexible.

Are there any classes held in December? We are looking at going in December 2013 and I think the boys might like this. I am meeting my best friend at Disney again.

If there aren't open enrolment classes, does anyone still try to organise their own class of ten? and if so, where do I find them?
