disney world model kits

With so many people enthralled with Disney I was wondering if there are any model kits of the various buildings, castles and attractions in the parks. such as models that you build for a train set. Something you build with glue etc.

My son is really into building and construction. I saw one 3d puzzle of the castle which is what got me wondering if there are actual model kits of Disney.

I'd love to get him something by Christmas so any info would be helpful.

Have never seen that, the closest thing would be the monorail playsets, but those don't require any real work, they snap together or come complete in a box.

I would love to buy something like a WDW model kit! My husband has both indoor and outdoor trains and would def put these buildings in a train set!!

I've looked for something like this and haven't found much. The best I've found are these free models of the Haunted Mansion. I did the Liberty Square version on card stock and it came out great. You just need a color printer, good scissors, and glue.

Many, many years ago, I had a Cinderella Castle made out of paper. I don't remember where I got it from.

Several years ago there was a Lincoln Log version of Wilderness Lodge. I bought one for my son. I see them occasionally on E Bay.

I personally built it one Christmas to make sure all the parts were there. Took about an hour if I remember correctly.
