Disney World at Capacity.

Ooh...I want to see pictures. I'm always amazed at the amount of people!

One of dh's coworkers (along with his wife and kids) are there for their first trip right now. When I asked dh about their plans, he said they were winging it. Well...they'll never be back!

I kind of want to go during a capacity close just for the hell of it... too bad WDW is so far away...

I might one day, perhaps if I just happen to be there. We are planning a Dec 2012 trip, perhaps we'll stay through Christmas.

Thanks for the pictures, I've always been curious as to what a "capacity" crowd would look like. But I have to say, that (the pic from Harambe) is just awful. I could never be in a crowd like that, I'd feel way too claustrophobic, let alone try to walk around and "have fun". :confused3

One of my co-workers has been there since Dec 24 and will be there until Dec 31, with her DH and 3 kids. They've never been there before, there's no way that they can have any kind of experience remotely similar compared to being there any other time of the year. She really didn't want to hear about just how crowded it was going to be. I don't think she could imagine! lol

Yes, looking at the picture how could you even walk.I hope your friends went to epcot today. :)

My boys and I were there last week and the wait times for Space Mountain and Toy Story Mania were up to 2+ hours. I would never wait that long for any ride, but I guess a lot of people would. (we got there just a few minutes after DHS opening and the line for FP was about an hour!)

It was really cold that week-in the 50's-60's, so Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids lines were walk ons! Yes, we did it, my boys went on Splash Mountain and Kali by themselves, then the next day I brought the ponchos and we all went on Kali. Got a few small spots on us, they were even allowed to stay on and ride again. I didn't want to press my luck so I got off.;)

Nope, not for me. I would rather be at home than at WDW with crowds like that in the OP when they have to close the park. I can't even imagine how that could be fun.

god that Toy Story ride is going to be the death of me, i swear! the last 3 times DH and i went to Disney World we tried to get on that ride, and were unsuccessful every single time. everytime it was either too long of a wait(like over 3 hours and i'm not waiting in line for a ride for 3 hours), the fast passes were done for the whole day, or the ride was broken down. and this last time we went it was "broken down" again and i got so frustrated i told the one CM "you know...this seems to happen a lot with this ride....considering it's brand new...maybe they should have gotten all the bugs worked out before they opened it" i tried to be as nice as possible lol
