Welcome back to the boards. I mostly lurk during the week, but it moves so fast I feel like I get way behind that way.

I dont really understand the FE I get that its like a secret santa thing but how do we exchange the gifts and what type of gifts are normally given? But yea, put me down for that. I'd love to do the combined seating but my dad is just unbelievably shy lol I'll come over and say 'hi' though, if we're in the same restaurants
Lol, its probably easier for us English to understand what your saying coz we have so much American TV over here. Last time we were on the Disney Magic, which was a 7 day cruise, we were sat next to an American family and got really friendly with them (we still e-mail now and that was 3 years ago), the 2 girls who were mine and my brothers age had a really hard time trying to figure out what we were saying most of the time lol

Me and DH should be able to translate for everyone. We're fluent in British from years of watching Doctor Who and a little while watching Robin Hood on BBCAmerica.

Yeah kind of a secret santa, except not secret if you dont want it to be. I know that I would love to tell the person how much victoria ADORED their gift. Any gift is fine. I am going to do something that kinda represents Nashville, TN. I know that Victoria would ADORE anything from England.

There was a woman that ordered a sailor dress for her daughter who was from England. We have really became good friends but we have to explain our expressions! LOL She mentioned something about a Kinder Egg and I had no idea what that was and I had to explain "slammed" LOL It's hillarious. I am just glad we dont "talk" because most of the conversation I will be going "huh? What did you say?" Maybe I will try to find some English shows to get used to it. HEY!! I watch Harry Potter with no problem! Do you think that will help me?? hehe

No problem with the questions! I dont know how you read so many pages. I can only take them as they come. If I had that many pages, I would skip big time! If you WANT to get one gift per person, that is fine. On our account, the only one that I really want to have something is Victoria. The others doesnt matter if they get something. I am going to leave all families something each day (I have SOOOOO many ideas that I think you guys are going to LOVE!! ) but I tend to go overboard anyway. It's my personality and I have accepted it. It also depend on how much walking I do. I might have to give in and do one family each day LOL but my goal is everyone every day! lol

haha Slammed means to get a lot of something. Like I was talking to her about being slammed with business. Something VERY GOOD but it is like the work slammed me against the wall. My visualization is sitting in a chair and a bunch of papers fell out of the sky and landed making a big pile hehehe

I never got Doctor Who. My husband loved it but we never watched an episode together.

I have to ask you...what part of England are you from? Do you or your brother/father support anyone in the English Premier League? My husband Eoghan is from Ireland and is a Manchester United Supporter in a BIG way. I'm a Liverpool Supporter (yes, we knew this before we got married!)

We actually met watching football/soccer on TV in a pub in NYC....

Anyway, I'd love to know where you're from! We have a number of friends from England, all different areas.

I was going to ask where he was from. It's not like that is an American name! lol Even my Mom said "where is he from?" I said "I dunno! I never asked. "

This is going to be really cool having so many "foreigners" (see? I have NO accent!) aboard! But be ready for questions. Victoria might talk your ear off about things they learned there.

Yep, Eoghan is from Ireland, I thought I had posted that earlier, but maybe I just thought I did. He arrived here the NOV after 9/11. He came over with his cousins and a friend. They all went home after a year, he stayed stuck it out and seven years later or so, met me!

He from County Laois (pronounced Leash). It's in the midlands of the country, right next to Tipperary....



And no, I'm not Irish at all, funny enough!

Hello everyone! Looks like you guys have been busy on this thread!

Howdy Strangers!

As you all probably have guessed by now, I'm not a big poster on the weekends!

Anyway, I had no problems whatsoever booking the day and time I wanted for Palo (our last night) early (6pm), still leaving time to meet with my DIS peeps at dinner later that evening.
I also booked the excursions we wanted. The catamaran sail and snorkel at Nassau, parasailing and stingray adventure on CC.

This morning I saw on the DIS that the Wishes DP has been extended, so booked it for Oct. 4th to surprise DH! tee hee. (we will be in WDW for 5 nights pre and post cruise for a total of 2 weeks vacation time. It's a biggie for us!)



Are all you guys friends on FB? I missed out somehow...I'm on there too.

Ohhh don't worry I will be bawling my eyes out right along with you. Do you listen to live365 online? They have a WDW radio station and every night at 10 they play wishes. (They play all wdw music and rides 24hrs a day) When I can catch it I sit here and even cry at home when I'm listening to it. Man I'm a big sap...haha hope you guys don't make fun of me too much for that.

Bummer about the parasailing. We will have to share experiences though!

Yup it does. It's the Wishes Dessert Party. It's offered for an extra price and you get special seating for Wishes (in the Terrance Noodle station by tomorrowland) and a Dessert buffet. From the reviews and pics here on the Dis it looks delish!

And, I'm so excited... Jackie pm'd me her reservation #, and I call DCL at (800) 951-3532 and told them we wanted to sit together at 1st seating. They set me up right then. If anyone else on 1st seating wants to sit around us, pm your ressie # and I will try to get it set near us. Jen, I didn't go back and search the old posts for any other ressie #'s, but I would try to call that # above. WHen it got to options (after the options for English or Spanish), I think it is option #2 for information about current reservations.

And yall, I'm feeling old... The big 4-0 hits this year for me, and one of my brother-in-laws. Most of us are not together later in the year, so they threw us a surprise birthday party tonight. Oh, 40... YUCK! STAY AWAY! But it was sweet of them to do...
