I'm not that excited right now thinking of all I have to do.

Oh gosh that made my stomach flip. I have 12 MORE days to live through (not counting today or Saturday when we leave) before I am in the great state of FLORIDA!!!

I'm sorry it was Stephanie who said she would do the name tags... I just read your post wrong.

Are we putting name tags on the gifts? If so I'm screwed. Each room is just going to have to fight over my gifts. lol I'm not sure I'm putting anything on my gifts... just shoving them in the little pockets.

Shove away on the gifts. You don't have to put labels on the gifts. Some people like to know who gave them the gift and this is how to find out. I like to put it on so I know what cabin# I have to deliver to and makes it easier for me...no list to read! However, this is a small group!

When we booked (later had to cancel) on the Dream it was much cheaper than the Wonder or Magic

We had 2 connecting insides 11B, cheaper than an 8C Oceanview. I am just happy that the Dream has more options (and affordable) for large families...

I can't wait to hear all about the Dream and more news on the Fantasy. But first let me Wonder about our upcoming cruise

Victoria informed me that she didnt have any underwear. Of course I start the lecture on how you need to do your laundry when it is full and if you are on your last pair yada yada yada. Then she said "I have some in my suitcase but that is for the trip!" I said "hunny, we are going to get you some NEW underwear for the trip! You can use these until then. She had like 8 pair in there. I dont think I am the ONLY one excited about the trip!

what kind of hot is it? very humide???

I wear mostly black, I guess I will have to buy some light colored clothes if I don't want to melt

Yes it is VERY humid there, especially if you are not used to it. Plan on sweating almost immedietely once going outside. I sure love WDW, but I HATE the humidity there! It is !!!! Yes light colors, and the lighter the fabrics the better. Just be prepared for the hot hot hot and humid!!!! oh and no, you won't need a sweater for the restaurants...honestly, it will feel like heaven walking into there. And you'll WANT to be freezing (if that ever happens) by the time you leave just so you feel good before you go back outside!

So, I was surfing the boards, and came across a thread on "must haves" when taking a cruise... I went thru and made a list, and thought I'd share in case anyone was interested... Here you go...

1. Gallon Ziploc bags – helps save keepsake items/helps pack damp clothes/etc
2. Small light-up travel clock - if you want to see time if you wake up in the middle of the night
3. Hair dryer - they have in some rooms/not a strong one though
4. Over door Shoe Organizer – use to store items instead of clutter counters/also prevents items from sliding off counters
5. Small can Lysol
6. Wrinkle free spray – if you don’t want to be wrinkled
7. Tide Wipes/Shout pen
8. Highlighter
9. White erase board
10. Outlet strip to for charging phones/ipods/games
11. Plastic cup (especially if you are bringing on your own beverages)
12. A sheet of preprinted address labels – saves you from having to write out the luggage tags for departure/and can use if you mail items
13. Sunscreen
14. Camera/Charger/Extra memory card
15. Travel size first aid kit/meds
16. Candy/snacks for the shows/movies (those aren’t free on the ship, and are pricey)

I hate sweating I didn't think about the weather when we booked... oh well, if it's too hot we'll just swim more it's not like it's our first time at WDW. We get to enjoy the pool more my kids are

I'm out eating with Emma. We just got out of churrch. Hubby spent summers in Florida and saya it's not hummid My summerrs as a kid I remember hating Florida because it was so hot and humid so we'll just see who wins the argument. I have been comparing the wearther of both areas and we have been more humid than Orlando. I would definitely take a sweater if you don't want to buy something. The AC may feel good at first but with the humidity you may feel freezing within minutes. Lol The good part.. It feels good to go back outside.

Victoria's too cute!! Why is it that "we" always buy new undies and socks for vacations? Especially for kids and DH? Does it have something to do w/ that old saying mothers would say -may sure you have clean underwear on when you go out as you don't know what will happen? Or if you get hit by a car? Anyone remember this??

that's another reason I like the cruise (for DH -who hates the humidity/heat) you're always close by to some AC!!

I do grab a sweater or sweatshirt for the cruise as it's nice to be cool but sometimes at a movie or show it's too chilly!! Or is that a reason to order a drink?
