Don't be too hard on your mom

. Everyone including myself has the same thoughts. Just tell your Mom a
LOT of things still have to occur for this to affect us...One of the issues with September travel are hurricanes. It is possible that some of us MAY have to shift our arrival plans, which is why information is so important (and few prayers thrown in for good measure). It does not hurt to develop some type contingency plan in the event it does develop, so you have some sort of idea, and you can implement the plan if and when necessary. Talking about it also lessen's the anxiety in most cases,so it may not be a bad idea to discuss some alternative arrangementswith your families.
The NHC has a saying..be prepared...not scared. Over the next few days we should have an idea what is going on with this storm and will have a clearer picture if anything is occuring.
So far, we are right on track as far as the number of storms for the year, it just seems like less beacuse last year was so active.
