You're right Bill. We have been through this a bunch of times already and it seems that the general feeling goes from indifference to panic and back again. I think it's the uncertainty and lack of control that makes her crazy. I do understand this, but at the same time, other than the usual preparation, there's nothing we can do about it anyway. Especially at this point, it's too far away to even really worry about. Most of the storms that we deal with get really close, and at the last minute, turn and do something different than what everyone has expected them to do. It's nature, we can't control it. The NHC has a saying..be prepared...not scared. Over the next few days we should have an idea what is going on with this storm and will have a clearer picture if anything is occuring.
So far, we are right on track as far as the number of storms for the year, it just seems like less beacuse last year was so active.
These are links to central Florida stations. We're about 3 hours south of that area (4 hours from Port) on the west coast. We get slammed by the storms that come into the Gulf of Mexico.taeja71 said:

Good question, let's wait 'til the others log back on and see if other's would like to be at the top of the calling tree and/or on the list. It'd be great if we could have this all organized by Thursday night or Fri at the latest.
If there is questionable weather could you call every minute? Just kidding, could you call every day just to get an update (only if there's bad brewing weathe r of course)? You might be on hold for a while if you can't get through right away.
I don't get in 'til Saturday some time. We'll be some where in the northern parts of FLa I don't know how reachable I'd be.
