Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

Today is our Anniversary 23 years! We were going to go out to dinner but then they (again) issued a Winter Weather Warning! It was suppose to be really bad (and again we didnt get anything they called for) But we decided because it was supppose to be bad that a Jammie day sounded good. Then we decided on the menu-a bottle of Eiswein from Disney-a turkey breast(from Market day) Stove top stuffing (cranberries) Hashbrown casserole, bread, and glazed apple and cranberries!

:cool1:  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY  :yay:

Thanks!!! I went to JCPenny and Old Navy and bought little boy Clearance clothes!! I'm such a bargain shopper. :rotfl:

He kept clasping his hands together and kicking his feet and crossing them and opening his mouth and wiggling EVERYWHERE. She was laughing at him!!

I think I want to do a 3D/4D whatever they are and get a better look at this face in a few months (Tom said it can be my birthday present!!)

Nothing made me happier than when she said "He looks absolutely perfect!" She showed me all 4 chambers of the heart and stuff and there are just not words. Healthy was all I wanted!! :lovestruc

THIS IS ALL SO GREAT :woohoo:
.

.......
Tom went to work on it while I get to rest and "grow his son" :rotfl: He's such a dork! .....

That is what I call ROMANTIC. It is so sweet and so appropriate and so loving and so caring!

This stuff with the VA has REALLY helped us. We communicate better, he treats me better. I've learned to be more tolerant, it's great. :lovestruc

Lucas is halfway done tomorrow!! :)

Alright.
Here we are.
This is the living room, at the current moment. The floors still need re-done (We got a polish kit at Lowes tonight) and the one blind needs put on.. and of course, our furniture!

And, bathroom shots. Side by side. Kinda different shots.
Old. And new.

Very Nice!

Very Nice!

I still have pink shower curtain thingies. I'm going to need to fix that.. or maybe leave them as a callback to that bathroom that used to be. Good lord, that thing was SCARY!! :scared:

Tom had some issues at work today. He's trying to tell me it's no big deal, so he won't tell me what happened. The nurse at his office sent him to Med Express (ouch, no insurance) which ordered him an MRI. Luckily, the VA Clinic will do the MRI under Veterans Healthcare so we've got an appointment to go back at 1pm.
He's scaring me. He said the Dr. told him he shouldn't be driving (AFTER I followed him home, since he wouldn't leave his truck)
That little craphead. :headache:
I had to tell him whatever was going on meant he needed to take it easy, he wanted to go back to work.

Boys.
What do you do with them? ?:confused3

"Stuff with the VA"? I missed something....some counseling or medication?
:confused3

:cutie: Lucas? You mean the baby? I voted for THOMAS PATRICK :thumbsup2 Are you telling me I have been outvoted? :lmao:

:cool1: you have such vision!

I was going to say that clear or white shower curtain rings would cost only a few dollars at Wal-Mart

but then I read the rest of the post and want to give you a
Tom wants to be the strong man for you and baby. Most men are like that. They can handle "taking care" but not "being cared for".

Hopefully the VA help will be of assistance here. The Counseling or whatever it is. Be sure they find out about this situation so they can deal with it.

He is so fortunate to have you as he makes these adjustments. ::yes::

Well I attended the appointment he had at 1.
They looked at me and said "You drive."
And looked at Tom and said. "Go to the ER at the Clarksburg hospital today, tell them you were here and they'll do a Cat Scan."

Stupid boys. No way this was "no big deal" :headache:

Well. We're off to Clarksburg (about an hour away). He's finishing homework. Stupid butt can't ever STOP and take a break.

(He's fine, they think. His blood pressure was 160/100 and they said for his age and symptoms, he needs to get his brain looked at:rotfl: .)

Again I say.. boys. What can you do with them?? :headache:

Today isn't counseling.. he's been, in the past few months, to anger management with other OIF/OEF Vets that really helped him understand why he is "mad". He's done with that now but it's helped show him that his anger isn't HIM.. it's what he did/saw.
He just sees someone for PTSD now. :goodvibes

:cheer2:

:thumbsup2 THIS IS AMAZING!! I am bowled over. Looks like you painted the woodwork around this window--right?

:cool1: you have such vision!

Aw. Thanks. :flower3:

It came together pretty easily. I was impressed. The longest search was for the shower curtian. Everything else? A 5 hour trip to Lowes! :rotfl: Yes, the woodwork is painted.. it didn't match anything. It didn't match the cabinet behind the toilet (also painted White) or the frame around the door. I couldn't figure out how to make it match up so WHITE it went!! :thumbsup2

The tile is really, really dirty in that picture and Nick is still putting up a little bit of moulding and baseboard. It's almost done, I'm excited! :goodvibes

Yes, his name will be Lucas. Sorry, we didn't take votes on boys names. We've known our boy name for awhile! :lovestruc

Have you seen this yet? I got it off the latest Steelers thread on the CB.

Our Father,

Who Art in Pittsburgh,

Football Be Thy Game.

The Kingdom Come,

5 Super Bowls Won,

On Earth as it is in Heinz Field.

Give us this Day a playoff Victory,

And forgive us our penalties,

As we defeat those who play against us.

But lead us into a victory,

And deliver us to Tampa!

A-Ben

Go STEELERS!

Nope-had jammie day and made dinner at home-Winter Weather warning!
Jammie days are awesome!

Hooray to both.

Lucas is a great name! Five hours at Lowes? Of all the places that need to sell food and drink its home improvement places. :thumbsup2 I love the pictures of the rooms you painted Patsy, so warm and sunny. We almost did a mustard color, but now I see how pretty yours turned out... maybe we'll try it in another room. :wizard: Keep up the good work, but don't over do yourself.

Thank You!

It's called "Safari Sun" and I LOVE it. It's a Valspar paint color. I think. :confused3

All I did was the trim work... on the bottom halves of everything. And I took all the outlet covers off. And then I watched. And cleaned paint rollers. And unwrapped blinds and organized hardware.
Truly exciting stuff! :rotfl:

I know what you mean about the food/drink thing, too! Our Lowes used to have a "Judy's Hot Dog stand" in the parking lot!! They moved to the Big Lots parking lot, though... :confused3

(Tom's doing okay, craphead was right! The VA did a Cat Scan, had to send the stupid thing to another hospital to be read and we had to wait 4 hours... but he's okay. It was a precaution in the first place because of his blood pressure but a relief to know his head looks good!)

I'm glad craphead, I mean Tom is alright. :lmao: I hope the tests turn out to be nothing.

Valspar Safari sun. cool :thumbsup2 so noted.

I'm getting sucked into the show leverage on TNT. Its pretty good so far. :goodvibes http://www.tnt.tv/series/leverage/display/?contentId=39809

I gotta go :(. night.

You were right the first time. :thumbsup2 :lmao:
"Craphead" and/or "poophead" or "poopiehead" are terms of endearment around here.
We're a little different but not afraid to express our love for each other. :rolleyes1
