Disney Wonder Panama Canal May 01, 2016

Hi Everyone!
This will be our first time on a Disney Cruise and we're SO EXCITED! I'll be cruising with my husband and 2 boys (ages 7 and 11).

My husband's sister, her husband and their 5 kids (ages 17, 16, 14, 12, 9) and one if their friends (age 17) will also be cruising with us. Additionally, my husband's parents who are in their 60s will also be cruising with us.

I'm interested in signing my family along with my 9 and 12 year old nieces up for the FISH EXTENDERS program. Does anyone have more information on this and how I would join a Fish Extenders Group?

I am sorry, the FE list has been closed for a month. Almost all cruises that have a FE close them anywhere from one to two months before cruise date. That way all participants have time to buy, make and assemble their gifts.

Hi Ann -- we have 8-year-old boys, an 11-year-old boy, and 12-year-old girls -- perhaps we should meet up and introduce our like-aged people!! Mine are on their 3rd Disney Cruise (on the Wonder every time so far), so they know the ins and outs pretty well.

FE Notice: For all people in FE groups Donald, Goofy, and Pluto, there is a cabin change for one of the participants, please note, Kathleen Delbert should be listed as cabin 6574, not 6540 as listed. Some of you are not on the social media group, so I wanted to post over here to make sure that you got the change.

Hi everyone, I haven't been on this site in a while and I can't figure out how to initiate a comment...I can only find where to "post reply"...so, I apologize to anyone whose message this may attach to! I just learned that our stateroom is incorrect on three of the five FE lists we signed up for...Mickey and Minnie are accurate, however Donald, Pluto, and Goofy are incorrect...our correct stateroom is 6574, we are Delbert and Kathleen Lee...if any of you read this and are more affluent with this site than I am, please feel free to put this information where it belongs! Thank you all so much, Kathleen

I will be sending new updated lists out to all involved in the FE's. For most this will be the only change, but that way you will have it and it will be the latest and greatest!!!

I've been on the last two PC crossings and both had a frozen meet and greet, you do need to get tickets for it on day 1. Olaf, Anna, and Elsa were on board.

If anyone on here is interested - I booked a tour with Claudia in Cartagena. I have room for several ADULTS. I think many of you are on the FB group and know about this - but if you aren't on there....it's a private tour. Much less than the DCL tour - and geared to go a bit slower paced in the heat. It's $30 per person paid in cash at the end of the tour. Claudia gets great reviews on Trip Advisor.

We did do a kid/family group - but at the moment I only have room for a couple with one child, or a single parent with two kids. PM me if interested, or drop me an email at: hollysumner.ff@gmail.com

It's almost time!!

Just wondering, is there somewhere to get our passports stamped in each port?

Thanks.

does anyone know if there are any on-board character dining or character teas?

There is a character breakfast and usually some other stuff. Usually they are now a ticketed event, check with guest services when you get there to make sure if you need to sign up for whatever.

Hello everyone! The family and I are CRAZY excited to be on this cruise. It'll be our 2nd Disney cruise (1st was Alaska this past summer) and I'm pumped that it's a longer cruise and going through the Panama Canal. YAY!

It'll be me, the hubby, and our 3 kids -- 19 mos boy, 3 1/2 girl, & 5 1/2 boy. Someone had mentioned a baby playgroup earlier and I would LOVE to join in. I'm sure the older kiddos will be begging to stay at the kid zones as much as they can (just like last time) so it'll be me and the little one hanging out on our own. It would be great to meet up with other families and their babies too!

Also, my husband and I will be celebrating our 8 year anniversary on the 10th. Definitely going to make reservations at Palo for that night!

Seriously, CAN'T WAIT!!

Love to know where people are staying if they're flying in the night before the cruise, and if there will be a shuttle to the cruise. What kind of deals have you guys found?

We are staying at the Conrad which is where the Disney transfer picks up from.

We are at the comfort suites north airport. They have airport shuttle and shuttle to the port. We fly all day and still don't get in until 8:30 so we just need a close place. I booked it last year though and got it for $134 including all taxes and fees.
