Disney Wonder Panama Canal May 01, 2016

so what are your interests? What does everyone do for fun (aside from Disney that is..)
We are outdoor enthusiasts, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing and the like and I love scrapbooking. We also enjoy museums, restaurants, science centers etc. Most of our time is spent playing cab driver for DD who is 8. She participates in karate, piano, girl scouts, and theater.

Hey Guys, I've heard all about pirate night but I just heard a rumor that on one of the first nights there will be a frozen themed night. Has anyone experienced this event before? thanks
Someone had posted the itinerary from the May 2015 crossing and they had a Frozen day.

Hello All! DH and I will be joining as well, and celebrating our 28th anniversary on Friday the 13th. We actually got married on Friday the 13th, so we figure that it is good luck for us! We are DVC and this will be our 10th Disney cruise - yay for Platinum! The PC crossing is something that DH has always wanted to do, so we are super excited. For all of you that participate in the FE exchange, we love going through the ship and looking at all of the door hangings that have been created, as well as how the doors are decorated. Everyone is so creative! Love the idea of the recipe exchange. A little bummed that it has already been closed. Happy sailing to all!

rkwier, :welcome:
So glad y'all are joining us. If a few more want to join a late group, there is one other that is waiting to do a recipe late group exchange. We will give it a little time and see.

I am new to the Fish Extender Exchange. I am in a group and am working on my gifts. I am a little confused on whether we are supposed to tag our gifts to say who they are from. I had assumed it was supposed to be a surprise and that you should not put who it is from. However, after looking at the MANY different sites on the web I have seen that some people do put a tag on the gift stating who it is from. Advice please.

That is totally up to you. I usually tag mine and I have received them both ways. Some that tell me and some don't.

Hi everyone,

This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. We were a scheduled on the EB trip in 2012 but had to cancel.

I will be traveling solo, since my traveling buddy, DD 16, doesn't want to miss 2 weeks of school right before graduation and no one else I know wants to be on a ship for 14 nights!

We have been on 10 Disney cruises, but I have never traveled alone, hope I don't regret my decision!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Tammy, I have been trying to get a hold of you by PM. I need an email address from you and verification that you are still going on this cruise.

Hello,
My Husband (recently married) and I are going on the WBPC in May. My husband has been on Disney Cruise before and tells me it is a lot of fun, even with no kids. I am really looking forward to it. Love Disney! My second cruise ever (NWCL 3 day was the first :().

He is right. Been on 15 cruises with DCL and we have ZERO (sorry but yes I am happy about that) kids. They do a great job.

If anyone knows dthogue, I have been trying to get ahold of her for the FE list that she is on. I need an answer by tomorrow or I will be forced to remove her from the list (by request of those trying to get their stuff finished).

Is it too late to get on a fish extender list? I was late getting the info about them.

Yes, everyone has been getting their items finalized over the last few weeks. Most of your FE lists close anywhere from 6-8 weeks before cruising.

hi everyone. can you tell me if european style swimming is permitted in the adult pool?
Please clarify what you mean? If you mean topless or otherwise uncovered- then no. I do not believe so and the adult area is not closed off- there will be children walking thru at times (even though not supposed to) and everything is viewable from deck 10 that is not adults only. Sorry

*** just catching up here*** hi everyone! *waves*

Has anyone taken the PV pirate ship excursion? Is it any good? Our boys are 10 and 13.
We've done it and we did it with teens/preteens- we all loved it! they served breakfast down below that was good quality/etc. and then the entertainment was great- lunch on the boat was great- and if it's the same one you're talking about they took us off somewhere (I forget where LOL) where we got off in smaller boats (like tendering from the pirate ship) to a beach and they took us on little boats to snorkel if we wanted to, had canoes we could go off in by ourselves, etc. and then back on the pirate ship- it was a lot of fun and all the kids of all ages seemed to have a blast- even normally "grumpy teens" liked it. :)
