Greetings Panama Canal cruisers!! We just booked this cruise while on the Magic on the Norway Fjords! What a wonderful cruise! I chose Alaska and Norway so it was Gary's turn to pick!!

Anyway my hubby's dream cruise is the Panama Canal so we are doing it!! This will be our 13th Disney Cruise and would love to join in on the FE fun... Hoping we have smallish groups as the luggage may be full!! LOL 3 of us - There is me, Linda (DW) Gary (DH) and Faith (DD-15) Cabin 5134

Hello WBPC cruisers! My DH, Dave, and I just booked this cruise 6 days ago. We were on this year's WBPC, had an amazing time and decided to book the 2017 WBPC once booking opened. Last Friday, Dave told me to contact DCL to book the 2016 WBPC! This will be DCL #26 for me and #22 for Dave. We are also DVC members. I wish DCL had a different itinerary for this cruise as it was the same itinerary on the 2015 cruise. I plan to use a couple of ports as extra sea days. Cabo has become one of our favorite ports.

I'm not on the Disboards often but will check this thread more often. Looking forward to meeting you in less than 10 months!

Hi Jan. Looking forward to seeing you again. I so agree about the ports. They have been the same for years and it seems to be one of DCL's negatives, that they stick with same old same old your side of the pond. I do like Cabo though, even though I stay onboard now!! The views from the ship are fabulous. I would love Key West again and would rather there than Cozumel.

There is a pretty big group of us that are flying into Fort Lauderdale, staying at the Westin with a great group rate and then going to the port on a pre arranged group bus. I'm pretty excited about the arrangements. There is still some room available, if anyone is interested in joining us.

Hi Marilyn! Looking forward to cruising with you again! In my email to DCL after this year's cruise, I suggested other ports of call - Key West, Aruba, etc. I don't plan to get off the ship until we are in the Pacific.

If you are asking about shopping/stores in Miami near the port, there is none within walking distance.

I know there is in Cozumel and I think there was some in Puerto Vallarta. At Cabo we have to tender and I don't remember about there or Cartagena (but I think there was).

At Cabo, there is a small shopping area near the tender drop off. At Cartagena, there is a small shopping area as well as a coffee shop and mini zoo. Both shopping areas are within a short walking distance. I heard that there is a Walmart near the port at Puerta Vallarta. We did not port at Puerta Vallarta during this year's westbound PC cruise due to civil unrest.

As you are coming into the port at Puerta Vallarta, the Walmart is very visable. It was one of my husband's favorite ports when we went. We will just have to wait and see if we get to do it again.

My DH, MIL, our 5 kids (12yo girls, 11yo boy, 8 yo boys), my dear friend, her husband, their daughter, her husband, their two kids, and their two friends have reserved the better part of a deck for this cruise (six cabins in all). We are very excited to be joining you all from Atlantic to Pacific!

This will be our family's 3rd cruise -- all on the Wonder -- We did Mexico back when LA was a port in 2012, and Alaska last summer. Kids are looking forward to 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to a great experience as we have always had that.
