Disney Wonder Dry Dock Watch - 11/10 Wonder departs on first cruise out of Galveston

I have added the Frozen news to the first post.

Where did you read this?

Onboard.

By the looks of the pictures the atrium will be remodelled like the magic.
And they'll be the twist and spout slide - nothing about a possible Aqua dunk yet tho...

Awesome news! My DD loves Frozen, though she's not so much into the movie anymore, she still likes Elsa so she will love this. I just put a hold on a room for Spring Break next year. :-) I've been wanting to try another one of their ships and this itinerary fits us perfectly.

Is there any guarantee that the Wonder will have to use the new canal after the refurbishment?

Just hoping as we are on next year's EBPC.

Just booked our spring break trip, departing April 9. CM who made the reservations said that 85% of the ship is being refurbed, including work in the staterooms. No plans to add a major slide, though. This is my first cruise...fingers crossed!

So the Wonder is definitely getting the Twist and Spout? Thats good news

I'm going to let someone else answer--we haven't been on a cruise yet--first one is on the Wonder in less than 2 weeks! I just know they have been redone from reading the boards here for the past year, and I can't remember 'what' was done.
I thought they were replacing beds during this dry dock to the same ones as on the Dream class ships, which means you can't split bed into 2 twins and they are higher than original beds

I thought the beds were switched out a couple of years ago when it didn't get this huge dry dock as anticipated.
