Disney with two broken arms - (Final Day 1/23)

I enjoyed your newest update..yep that fountain pic was funny! My DH said that Epcot needs more restrooms anyway:rotfl: all that beer don't ya know!

Hey!! I just found your report! I have some catching up to do!:goodvibes

Apparently I'm following Heather because I just found your TR too! Haven't caught up yet but you have a beautiful family!

I've enjoyed your TR so far. Your girls are too cute. I love the posing. My DD-6 did the same thing with the PP people in France in front of the fountain. princess:

Yes, I didn't realize how much posing was done until I got home and looked at the pictures.:rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
That pic of your DH is so funny....I couldn't help busting out laughing....not sure my Dh would have found it very funny with that caption but oh well...

I think those head pieces were beautiful. We always carry lice spray in our suitcase for hats that are purchased...and we don't let our kids put the hats on in the stores...Once they have picked out what they want we buy them and then when we get back to the room and have given them a good spray then they can wear them....But I am funny about that sort of stuff as well....I don't mind bringing back little critters from WDW as long as they are stuffed and cute...:rotfl:

Wow, you even bring lice spray? Now that's impressive.

Love the shower bathroom!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks;)

:cheer2: Welcome hlrababy and AZMickeyfans :cheer2: So glad to have you here!

On our way to France we saw this pretty impressive guy balancing on top of MANY chairs he'd stacked. It made me nervous.

This fountain was pretty.
DisneyWorld2008426-1.jpg

And of course passport stamp time. Thank Goodness for passports. They really do keep the kiddos interested in World Showcase.
DisneyWorld2008425.jpg

Next up United Kingdom. Hmm this is the only picture we took in UK. We had a little trouble finding Kidcot station because it was actually at the purchasing counter.
DisneyWorld2008427.jpg

Wow, we thought Canada had a very beautiful area. Love the Niagra Falls. I suggested that we definitely watch the 360 degree film at least to cool off. I had really enjoyed China's. The rest of the family were more into it to cool off that anything. On our way we took a few pictures.
DisneyWorld2008428.jpg

DD4 was into posing w/ her dress like a princess this day and DD7 bless her heart, did the best she could even though she wasn't wearing a dress.
DisneyWorld2008433.jpg

Isn't it funny how half way into your trip the kiddos start arranging their own photo shoots.:lmao:
DisneyWorld2008430.jpg

We got this great photo at the Kidcot station. The guy w/ the moosehat sure loved his job. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and his hat.
DisneyWorld2008436.jpg

Well, we did it! We made it to each country in World Showcase.:jumping1:

As we made our way back into Future World we ofcourse had to hit up one of our new favorite rides! Test Track Baby
image119.jpg

We also did Ellen's Energy Ride. No pictures. The beginning is pretty neat. But the rest of the ride while interesting takes a little too long with out much interest.

Then we had to find Club Cool. I had tried to find it last year but didn't get there in time before closing. The girls thought this was so much fun. Free Pop in Disney World, imagine that. I ofcourse have seen so many pictures of people surprising their loved ones w/ Beverly so I wanted to try. I don't know how they surprise their loved ones.:confused3 Maybe they lie. Because when I handed DH the drink he asked what it was and I said "Beverly" he then of course read the description. I don't remember what exactly it said but I know the word bitter was in it. So DH ofcourse declined the beverage. Then I just told him I'd like to take a picture of his reaction so he obliged.
DisneyWorld2008439.jpg

He then told me to try it so I returned the favor.
DisneyWorld2008440.jpg

Hmmmm. What to say about the infamous Beverly. It's not as bad as I thought. But definitely not good. At first it taste fine. It is the aftertaste that is icky.

The watermellon soda was a hit with our family. Can't remember which country it was from.

It was now about dinner time so we headed over to Sunshine Season. From what I remember we got huge sandwiches. The bread was very, very thick. While we were eating DH noticed the man who had played Romeo in Italy earlier that day. I guess that's one you'd have to be there for but it made us laugh. As he passed behind us I yelled out "Hey, Romeo". He turned and laughed too.:lmao:

By now I was pretty tired. We had plans to stay for the fireworks and I was sooo looking forward to them. Especially since I'd been teased by them every night from the POP. Actually I think I was more tired than the rest. Those early mornings were getting to me. I just can't sleep in no mater what time I go to bed.

Will we make it to Illuminations or call it a day? Stay tuned.

Love the latest update....and loved the Moosehat (you could tell from the pic that that guy really loved his job!!) and the fake Beverly face!! LOL!!:rotfl: You guys really fit in a lot that day...so, do you recommend the World Showcase with little ones? I think I may have mentioned this before, we're going in 43 days, but who's counting? And we'll have six kids under the age of 6 and not sure if it's worth doing or not? Any thoughts? Can't wait to hear if you make it to the fireworks or not!! :surfweb:

Love your pics around WS. We missed a lot of it this year, just too tired to make it all the way around! Oh well, gives me a reason to go back (like I needed one! :rotfl2: )

Glad the kids made it all the way through World Showcase :cheer2: I can imagine it being a little boring for kids (even some of us adults :lmao: ) but Epcot is one of my top two fav parks (now HS is tied neck in neck - love my ToT!!)

It really looks so hot there that day - do you know what the highest temp was when you were there?

The soda fountain....we passed by that last time too but it's a must do in December! Looking back we missed a ton of stuff this past trip. :sad2: Not this time...you live and learn right? That deluxe dining takes up a lot of time.

Your test track pic is cool! Everyone is having so much fun. I wonder why they didn't do the passports back by Pooh Bear at the MK? That's where we always had them done. That area can get crowded though. I love the way you took pics as they had their books signed. Great idea!

btw, never done Test Track....do you think it's okay for little ones, did the girls like it??:confused3

Yep, even when you know Beverly will be grose you can't help but react a little. Maybe you could hit a couple shows in World Showcase that the kids might enjoy.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Love the Moosehat!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

So did he.:lmao:

Man, if it wasn't for tiredness think how much we'd all get in.:goodvibes

I want a MOOSEHAT:cool1: LOL

Check out Canada.:lmao: :thumbsup2

No, I'm not sure what the temp was but there was no cloud cover that's for sure.

Well, something tells me you will have plenty more trips to fit it all in.:thumbsup2

Another great update!!!

And I so hope you make it to Illuminations!!!;)

Thanks. Next update:goodvibes coming up.:goodvibes

Today is a quick update with a couple of video clips.

O.K. Here's a fun game for you all. Let's play . . . . . WHAT'S THAT SOUND? I took this short clip in Epcot. At the beginning of the clip I had not opened up the cover yet. You will hear the sound before you see the picture. See if your predictions match the picture.:goodvibes

We left off eating dinner at Sunshine Season after a fun-filled day of dining with princesses and touring World Showcase. During dinner I asked the family if they'd rather go back to the hotel or stay for Illuminations. No one had even mentioned leaving but they all jumped at the opportunity. Since we still had about 2-3 hours and I myself was a little tired I reluctantly agreed to leave. In the back of my mind I thought we could possibly make it back on another day. So we left Epcot and headed back to the POP for our normal routine of swimming, showering, watching Epcot fireworks, and bed.
image120.jpg

When I saw the fireworks this night I couldn't help but wonder if I'd made a mistake by leaving Epcot but I was also happy to be going straight to bed. It was definitely a blessing for our fun-filled day ahead. Following is a small bit of Illuminations shot from the POP that is better than the one posted earlier. (No background noise and less wobbly).

Up Next :hourglass: You will not believe where we're off to tomorrow! Definitely not somewhere you'd expect to see someone w/ two broken arms. Any guesses?

I'm curious...what room were you in to see the fireworks? The video shows that you can see quite a bit going on over there....and AZ says she could see the ball from her room. I'm surprised they don't charge extra for the fireworks view. :goodvibes Where'd you go???? I wanna see!!!
