Disney VISA free dining code QXZ

I also wanted to mention that I did get the free dining for the entire length of my trip, through Dec. 22nd, even though the dates on the promotion say Dec. 20th. So I guess it's one of those times where as long as you check in before the last date, it gets extended!

And I just applied for the Disney Visa on Monday - thank God I did!!! THat was before I even knew this code would be available. :thumbsup2

Correct! I actually check IN on December 20th and don't check out until December 29th...FREE Dining!

can anyone else confirm that the all star resorts are cheaper than POP? we don't really want to switch, but if it were significantly cheaper we might consider.

I would like to know this too because I have called 3 separate times and every CM has told me there is no price difference for switching, that all values are the same rate. :confused3 I would switch too if there was a significant savings.

I dont' think they are cheaper, but in some cases the discount is just not available anymore for the POP, so switching to one of hte All Stars will be cheaper...if you can get the discount at one of those. There is a tax rate difference between the All Stars though, as they are in a different county, but that is minimal.

I got a discount on my POP room...I guess I'll just be happy with the free dining and quit trying to scrounge for every dollar. lol
But still, I'd switch if I could save more money :rotfl:

OK, I did a price comparison for the first package I had held.

POR, 2A and 3C (16,14 and 8), 10 day Base, NO Dining....$3209.79.

Same package, with the FREE Dining code....$2809.27.

So, for 9 nights, there is a savings of $400.52...which is a room discount.

LOL - Was on the phone with disney checking availability, while AAA called back. Disney said there was still availability, however, AAA was calling me to tell me there wasn't !

The laughing is cause I'm going nuts over this...

We are going the second week of Nov at AS Music and it doesn't look like there is any or very little anyway room discount with the VISA free dining code. It came out out $ 300 more (6 days) than the fall package discount we are already using. I didn't think that was worth it for us (me, 2 DDs), we just don't eat that much food, so I didn't switch. Plus I didn't really want to be tied to ADRs but I would have switched for the right price. If you have more people, I can see how it would be worthwhile though. The CM did say they have been very busy today with all the Disney VISA callers!

I had to split my reservation, but was able to take advantage of the new DV Code.

My old Ressie was for Checking in on 9/26, Checking out on 10/4. AS Music Family Suites with Dining and 8 day Base Ticket @ $3352

The new discounted Split ressie is 9/26-27 w/ dining and 8 day Base Ticket, and 9/28-10/4 w/ Dining and 1 day Base Ticket @ 2995.

Saving = $350 + extra 1 day base ticket - check out/check in hassel on the 28th.

Better late than never...

Last night I plugged various dates to check what the package would be without a dining package on Disney's website. I did pricing without any deals; because, you can't double dip with codes, etc. The pricing would give me the so-called room rack rate ( I chose a preferred room ) which is what is required to get the free dining discount usually. Then, when I called this morn I had those cost figures in front of me for 3 diiferent set of dates. We are retired and we are flexible with our dates. Anyway, all three scenarios were cheaper that the website pricing; so, I know we are getting a discount on the resort room, too. I would say it came out to about 10% off the resort room in each case. There was a slight difference on costs when you change the dates a little, as well; although, it wasn't significant.

I couldn't make the ressies yet, but at least I know the current discount pricing with this code. Since we had three dates and I'm going to do it tonight I feel I should be ok waiting until this evening to make my ressies. I say this is a very good deal for value resorts.

I suggest for everyone to compare by using the Disney website. I can tell from some of the posts that with other deals, etc. this discount may not be as good or not worth the hassle of changing everything around if you need to change dates, etc.

I did this last night too. I priced my vacation on the Disney website (didn't include dining because it would be free) so I would have that number in front of me when I called this morning.

The price I got today for the Disney Visa Free Dining offer was exactly the same as the price quoted on disneyworld.com yesterday. In other words, dining was free, but no room discount.

Yes, tickets can be seperated from a package before check in.

It's not a widely known process, so it may take some finagling to get it done. It also has to be done at Guest Relations at the parks. The resorts won't be able to do it.

If they tell you, at Guest Relations, that it can't be done, ask for a supervisor.

But how can the parks do it if you don't have the correct KTTK yet?? :confused3 (I am very interested in this response since we are in a similar situation in December and I would LOVE my tickets early!!!)

After I got my DEAL today, I had to go out. I just got home and checked my e-mail to make sure there was not a mistake or something. I got my confirmation and YEAH!!!!!!! We saved over $1000 on the first room and $700 on the second room and we get this during Thanksgiving!!! I am so happy. I thought for sure I'd get home and see some kind of mistake. I am so happy it is correct and we are saving so much. I hope you all were successful today as wel..

Today was a double HAPPY day...
The orthodontist told DD9 he would take her braces off right before we go to Disney so she can eat anything she wants. She is so happy. (She needs 2 rounds of braces so she will be in them again in a year and a half, but she is so happy to have this break for our trip...):yay: :yay: :yay:

Thought I'd share our good fortune...

We had originally booked 2 rooms at Pop Century for November 13th - 17th with an AP discount and the AP dining package.

The room with 2 adults was $649.17 room with 1 adult and 1 infant was 521.49 - that's without any tickets. Well, with the Disney Visa Discount, the first room is now 524.18 and the second is 447.41. So, in total we're saving $225 and we'll have 3 base tickets to save for later as well!!

I already had reservations at Pop with the dining plan and I called at 7 this am and got $802 credit !!! for 4 adults. I am so excited about this. I am shocked !!!

Just received my confirmation for Pop-2 rooms 11/14-11/18. Saved about $700 over our original AP/AAA rate for our GIRLS ONLY WEEKEND:cool1: Wish we could stay longer and feeling a little guilty not bringing DD(4). Now all we need to do is pick some dining. Thanks for the heads up MJAJmom:worship:

So... ummm... if I don't have a Disney Visa, will they let me use this code over the phone. I wish I had the DV card but I got declined. :sad1:

Okay, I might be doing this...or at least helping my in-laws do it. We were planning a Disney trip anyways, but the dates just weren't working out between our two families. Then my FIL suggested December, but said it was probably too late to start planning for that. Au contraire! I called a CM today and got some pricing, don't know if the family will bite but if they do :thumbsup2

Fingers crossed.
